I can vouch for the Combaticons. They are nice molds and have some sweet 'Con decos. And if you don't already own other versions of those molds, its a win win.

Oops, I forgot about this question. Yeah that's kinda the opposite problem.

Any oil will degrade the plastic something fierce. Maybe a dab of graphite powder? It works wonders on locks and my pocket knife (nylon washers).

If you could pop out the joint you could stand down the ball joint with some super fine sandpaper.

I really love the colors of G2 Menasor. Will it be some 150$ Walmart exclusive too? I'm kinda tempted to sell off my Takara Menasor to buy this one.

IIRC the g2 sets are only supposed to be around the $100 mark and so far the only store we know will carry them is toys r us since there was a computer listing.

And yes Kanrabat, he should be available at walmart for 150$ cdn, just like superion is currently. He will also be available at TRU for a similar price.

Will wait for a sale. At that price, no one gonna jum on the set to scalp it.

Yeah, nobody f$#king knows when stuff will hit the warehouses - not even the retailers, because, ya know, weather, and release dates being pushed back (*cough* TT *cough*), and various other things;

On top of that, no other figures have ever had exact dates this far out; Pre-orders aren't even up, you should probably get over yourself

Best estimate is February, so there. bbts has the limbs coming in January, but wave 1 had the limbs come in weeks ahead of the bodies, so take it how you will

Yeah, it's not so much a crack as a tear, it's small and only evident when trying to rotate the arm - which I won't do; and as of right now, there is no give in the arm, it was stuck in place before I removed the arms.

Got the arms off, might try that; not really sure what happened -I've never had this happen to this degree before, it's like the ball or joint swelled up or something

Well I reported on it here - and as pre-orders aren't open, it's a good indicator that they're still a ways off.

If the site is accurate, Jan. 13 should be the day that pre-orders go live. I guess people weren't bothering with answering you because they figured it was generally common knowledge - or they had no idea, which we don't - as you wanted definite dates - guess you must've missed that news article on every site

I dont know, while the combined mode is awesome, the robot mode for starscream is a huge missed opportunity. Grand Galvatron showed us that you could have 2 totally different decos between the torso and the robot mode. Instead here we have Starscream combines to become... starscream.. again. As I said, missed opportunity. It also doesnt make much sense that starscream would be a voyager while the others are deluxes. We have to think outside the box sometimes, keeping it safe ends up stale a bit. Grand Galvatron is the best example of aiming left field and scoring a home run

No, but at 100$ cdn they probably will. That platinum dinobot set sold out the day it was reduced to 100$ on black friday. Anyways, while the deco is beautiful, I dont feel to keen on having 2 more of that dead end mold, even if it's what makes more sense. Of all the combiners, Menasor is the one who's components I like least (not counting the extra 6th member, just looking at the limbs here).

Hey, I'm so left field that I'm actually at the 7/11 a few streets down the stadium. Just check-out my customs in my sig!

The only thing I really don't like is Starscream's head in normal bot mode. That's Cyclonus's head. A head-swap would have been pretty easy to do. While I agree with will that Starscream turning into Starscream is a missed opportunity, I would have made.... Starscream turning into Starscream! No, really.
Using Cyclonus's mold, I would have turn the vehicle and the regular bot mode into ARMADA Starscream. The supermode would have been Supreme Starscream from Galaxy force. I'm pretty sure I would find a way to make the colors matches.

Now, to find some Cyclonus and arealbots for cheap to customise...

Some jet as SOUNDWAVE

Some other jet as THUNDERWING

And finally, Rook as SCORPONOCK. (Bonus, Legend Shockwave as a gun)
