Concerning the First Aid mold, I wished they had used something like that for Ironhide to make him look a little more like a van than Offroad's truck style tooling he got.

And Machine Wars had already done the "Formula-1 altmoded Prowl" thing previously.

It's as likely to be real as everything else the rumors listed as happening - and have - so go ahead and jump on the hype train

He was told that it was called Betatron because it was the beta version of another combiner, with a hint hint wink wink. That tells me they were gonna release computron eventually (a full combiner takes a while to plan for).

I would have liked to have seen that as well, but just for the sake of variety. I actually like old Ironhide a lot and often reach for "Big Tex" to play with. The repaints are bothering me less and less, I'm just having fun with a bunch of different bots. Hasbro's brainwashing must be just about complete

In Superlink, that's Red Alert anyhow (and therefore the inspiration for the Energon redeco of Armada's Red Alert toy in the Sam's Club two pack with Starscream.) In my head canon, that's indeed the UT version of Prowl, but after being reassigned to Velocitron and scanning in a more appropriate alt mode.

Though, just for clarity for those unaware, the Super Link version being named "Red Alert" shouldn't be confused with the Armada/Cybertron Red Alert character, whose name was "Ratchet" in Micron Desetsu and both "First Aid" and "First Gunner" (after his upgrade) in Galaxy Force.

Now 24 complete gestalts

-New pure and chaste overlord
Unite Warriors Blast-off's new shuttle mode is the only CW mold which hasn't been repainted at least once.

I would wait on putting Lightspeed with the Dead End mold. Breakdown has a similar transformation for the leg mode, the only difference is the shape of the pieces. And shapes can be drawn distorted depending on artist. Besides, Wheeljack (who's based on Breakdown)has a more fitting shape for Lightspeed in vehicle mode.

Also, looking at the Bruticus teaser more closely, he has a similar shape to the Aerialbots in arm mode with the cockpit going on his back. It's quite possible he'll be a heavy retool.

Actually, if you look at the proto/test shot of strafe, you can tell it's Air Raid by the way the arms are folded against the wing. Skydive has them in a different configuration.

And Air Raid is the one that would make the most sense to me with his wing configuration. Now if they put Air Raids double jointed wings on Skydives shoulder design, then that would really be closer to doing Strafe justice

HA! That's cute; but it's likely that UW Bruticus isn't anywhere near being done as we haven't even seen prototypes of blast-off, so chances are strafe being a remold of blast-off is pretty slim

I could see TT throwing a temper tantrum when hasbro wanted to do a legends Groove, which led to TT wanting to do a deluxe Groove, which led to one of them wondering who they could remold biGroove into, which led to Computron, which led to needing a drill tank, which led to needing a second use of said drill tank, which led to Liokaiser, which led to a convenient use of all three new molds in one combiner, which led to hasbro going, 'yeah, okay, why not'
