He's not really a gen toy either. He's a redeco from the cybertron line, part of the unicron trilogy.
Awesome toy by the way, one of the best car transformers of all time! Simple but extremely effective!
I've gathered he's really awesome, and I like the looks of him and I am a fan of easier transformations, so it should be fun!
He's the proof that easier doesnt mean lazy or less detailed or kiddie. I feel only now after a decade that we are finally going back to that mindset with RID and CW.

Nothing since has been as solid as Cybertron toys.Hellscream9999 wrote:Cobotron wrote:Well put!william-james88 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:william-james88 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote: Looked into him and realized he wasnt even supposed to be a movie toy, just a generations that ended up movie. Indeed, though, I think we might be better off now though, as they've learned a lot of clever tricks for doing things transformation wise, though, it hurts to think that the rid figures are only about 50% as solid as the cybertron figures

You know, you're right. The movie toys so often fall off my radar. 2007 Leader Prime = Brick **** House, and I love 'im. Ani too. I still think Takara couldn't get Cybertron out of their brain when they tooled that Leader. Those ratchets! Soooo clicky!Hellscream9999 wrote:Cobotron wrote:Nothing since has been as solid as Cybertron toys.Hellscream9999 wrote:Cobotron wrote:Well put!william-james88 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote:william-james88 wrote:D-Maximus_Prime wrote: Looked into him and realized he wasnt even supposed to be a movie toy, just a generations that ended up movie. A lot of the animated and movie figures had good 'heft' to them, heck, dotm megs has a nice solid design, and he debuted during the shrink-and-hollow-out-tf-figures campaign...

But we better start talking about CW quick. You never know who's watching.

Flawless logic, not even (cw) shockwave would question it

ZeroWolf wrote:It's easy to forget through all the repaints that hasbro have threw at us (I like to think of this as Hasbro pretty much saying: "you want more G1 references? Well here you go!" Remember kids, always be careful what you wish for, as they may end up combining with everyone else) that there was some pretty darn good molds in the CW line.

ZeroWolf wrote:Superion comes out as my favourite combiner out of the line but I think that also resonates with me as he was the one combiner I had complete for the longest time before my parents sold him part and parcel. My only reminder limb from his G1 self was ironically Slingshot.
Crosscheck wrote:You're these for some theortical repaint/remolds for some CW figures?
Stalker (uses Onslaught)
Talon (Air Raid)
Falcon (Firefly)
Skydive (Skydive)
Flare (Quickslinger)
All with new heads. They combine to form Skyquake. Some form of remold of Shockwave with a new head to represent Stalker's missile in vehicle mode.
I would love to see a Turbomaster variation using the Menasor to represent the Thunderclash and the cars, but there are too many uses of those molds already.

It's actually an idea that's popped up a couple of times in this thread (easy enough to miss considering how large it is and how often the News Crew flood it with spam) and you're right, it makes a LOT of sense, more so than taking a bunch of Autobot characters (the majority of which had already received CHUG updates) and turning them into Combiners.

Plus it'd be much cooler
