I have one idea:Skritz wrote:william-james88 wrote:Skritz wrote:Of all redecoes, Shackwave/Galactic Man is the one I expected the least to ever see.
What redeco of shockwave would have made more sense to you?
I meant redeco in general. Honestly thought the Siege Shockwave mold would not see use as-is but rather retooled with a new head (and maybe a new hand) as someone else. But, even then I'm not sure what. Shockwaves are hard to redeco.

He never transformed, so the tank mode can be easily nixed and replaced with a ship mode.

Or just retool the addons for spaceship mode to give him that "satellite" mode. I can see that working easy

That looks pretty damn cool.
Also, calling it now: We're getting a Selects Delta Magnus

It matters to me. I get that your idea is "Do a Cryotek redeco of Shockwave because his 'Theft of the Golden Disk' body was based on a Shovkwave analogue", but it falls apart for me because the more G1 SIEGE Shockwave doesn't really have any of the same features as Energon Shockblast except for he chest and head (and the latter would be replaced). Especially not the huge arm cannon (unless he can be configured with one?), which is probably why Shockblast was chosen in the first place since it makes for a parallel to his beast body's dragon head arm:

For me, that takes away any reason to do a potential Cryotek redeco of Shockwave specifically.
gothsaurus wrote:It dawned on me that gray Shockwave = Longarm.
Eh. Not really, not with this one - he hasn't got the stretchy arms or a crane, so what meaning does the name have?

The only reason Octivirate chose to model pre-beast Cryotek off of Shockblast in the first place was just because of the arms.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Meh. In all honesty, if Hasbro or anybody really were to make a pre-beast Cryotek out of any Shockwave toy, I'd want it to be from the Prime Beast Hunters Shockwave, as that is a much better toy than Energon Shockblast was, and still has the big cannon right arm.
Certainly a better choice than Beast Wars: Uprising Cryotek having been a new-headed redeco of Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Bulkhead. Lolwut?

Shockwaves price is not going to be worth it though, as the retail version is overpriced at £47 and a selects repaint with a probable price range of £60-£75 is forget it.

Don’t have the other female Autobots, so I can skip Lancer.
Selects is looking sharp. Looks like they’re trying to fill in the void TFCC made when FunPub lost the license. I’m okay with this.

Rumours for Upcoming Repaints from the Transformers Siege line
Posted by william-james88 Fri Jul 12, 2019 7:46 pm
So, while nothing should be taken as fact until we have solid proof, here is a round up of upcoming redeco'd toys from the Siege line that are rumoured to come out. The initial post for this rumour also states that these are a exclusives of some sort, akin to every other redeco exclusive we are seeing in the Siege line.
List of Deluxe redeco toys:
- Cybertron Hot Shot which is repaint of Hound but features accurate headsculpt (the photo below is a digibash by Air Hammer)

- G1 Toy color special package Refractor , this time came in a special package mimic a real world digital camera box set. Has extra accessories like a flash, a lens and button pad to make camera mode super accurate to real life model. 3 robots will sport a toy deco. This rumour is in line with an image of the camera mode found on Refactor's packaging

- Nightbird , repaint of Chromia , with new headsculpt
- Powerdasher , repaint of Brunt , with new headsculpt
- Decepticon Impactor which feature different deco compared to the retail autobot release
New Micromaster 10-packs which are all redecos of the ones already found at retail
Leader Shockwave in Galacticman Deco , full black shockwave (thius rumour was spread online earlier this week and we now know this particular part to be true)
