What redeco of shockwave would have made more sense to you?
I meant redeco in general. Honestly thought the Siege Shockwave mold would not see use as-is but rather retooled with a new head (and maybe a new hand) as someone else. But, even then I'm not sure what. Shockwaves are hard to redeco.

He never transformed, so the tank mold can be easily nixed and replaced with a ship mode.

For him, the altmode really doesn't matter as much as the head and deco.Nathaniel Prime wrote:Or just retool the addons for spaceship mode to give him that "satellite" mode. I can see that working easy

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

No these figures will not be sold at SDCC next week. They will only be on display.
ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:I have some attachment to him, since a Galactic Man currently fills in for Shockwave in my G1 collection. Also, I think the Galactic Man colors make a better G2 Shockwave than what Hasbro came up with for Combiner Wars G2 Bruticus.
That looks pretty damn cool.
Also, calling it now: We're getting a Selects Delta Magnus

The only reason Octivirate chose to model pre-beast Cryotek off of Shockblast in the first place was just because of the arms.ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Sabrblade wrote:ZeldaTheSwordsman wrote:Meh. It matters to me. I get that your idea is "Do a Cryotek redeco of Shockwave because his 'Theft of the Golden Disk' body was based on a Shovkwave analogue", but it falls apart for me because the more G1 SIEGE Shockwave doesn't really have any of the same features as Energon Shockblast except for he chest and head (and the latter would be replaced). Especially not the huge arm cannon (unless he can be configured with one?), which is probably why Shockblast was chosen in the first place since it makes for a parallel to his beast body's dragon head arm:
For me, that takes away any reason to do a potential Cryotek redeco of Shockwave specifically.

In all honesty, if Hasbro or anybody really were to make a pre-beast Cryotek out of any Shockwave toy, I'd want it to be from the Prime Beast Hunters Shockwave, as that is a much better toy than Energon Shockblast was, and still has the big cannon right arm.
Certainly a better choice than Beast Wars: Uprising Cryotek having been a new-headed redeco of Prime Robots in Disguise Voyager Bulkhead. Lolwut?
Hopefully he got his dragon body if he ever got to undergo the Beast Upgrade.Wireless_Phantom wrote:THEY USED WHAT BODY?!?!?
