Same here.
Unless they announce something mind-blowing in some years, of course.

I thought that was going to be a R.E.D. release… I don’t see how that’s going to work well for a transforming figure.

One thing that don't help him is that he never had an altmode in the original cartoon.
Still, Scourge is a pretty damn good base for an Alpha Trion. The cape and ship "bridge" could use some remolding to differentiate him enough. The body too while we're at it. If Select severely remold SS86 Scourge into Alpha Trion, I bet this could be a Takara initiative.
But for this to have hope of ever happening, Select needs to allow Studio Series figures into the line. But it's called GENERATIONS Select...
Hmmmm.....
Plus SS86 molds are getting separate subline repaints outside of mainline SS already anyway, considering Shattered Glass Blurr and the listing for Kingdom Jackpot.Rtron wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:We got a pretty great Alpha Trion in Titan Return. But it wasn't the "real" one.

Studio Series is a Generations subline. It's on the packaging.

In that case, the ball is in HASTAK's park. It's up to them to finally kick it.

Once they get over vehicle licensing that is. That could be one reason that Bug Bite isn't a VW Beetle. Also, the designs that appeared in the movie are licensed to Paramount, as such they may be limited to Studio Series as part of the agreement. I mean, they were hands-off for FunPub...

Oh yeah, this.
Still, there's still lots of unlicensed toys that could get the Select treatment.

New mold or Scourge repaint?
Main line or Selects or not at all?
