I'm more concerned about the box from Pulse being able to hold Scorponok, Omega Supreme, and Zarak; I have space issues. For those that have busted out Zarak, is the main body all in one piece, or do you have to connect the tail like on Scorponok?

That'd make him tower over HasLab Victory Saber. God Ginrai is supposed to be the same height as Star Saber and other normal-sized Combiners. The Legends one we got was the right size, but it's main problem was its over-engineering that made it very unstable. A more solidly-constructed one at the same size is what we need.-Kanrabat- wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Everyone else does too.ZeroWolf wrote:I feel very sorry for Overlord in those pictures God Ginrai just towers over him
Overlord needs to be redone as a commander.
Ginrai as well the TR one was horrible. Ginrai should be a commander by himself with a voyager Godbomber included in the box. That pack could have its own price point.

The only retools we get out of Selects are small tooling changes like new heads and such.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Maybe Selects could give us a Overlord (heavy) retool? Or is the line strictly redecos??

From Hasbro's perspective, they'd be like "We just did a perfectly good Overlord back in Titans Return." And he's no big name character they'd be willing to redo every year like Megatron and Starscream.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:I see. So the chances of a brand new Overlord (or even Thunderwing) are very slim, without any onscreen representation.

Technically, Overlord has had screentime more recently by being in the Prime Wars Machinima stuff.AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:From Hasbro's perspective, they'd be like "We just did a perfectly good Overlord back in Titans Return." Indeed. That's the flipside to the eternal reuse of Megatron and Prime in the shows. A lot of other characters have been sidelined as they keep the same leaders all the time.
I just did some checking for my own curiosity. Overlord hasn't been onscreen since Zone(1990) - 32 years now. Meanwhile, Thunderwing has never been onscreen. Straxus too. But I talk about those two specifically, as both would fit with Commander Class figures.

Was that ever confirmed, or just assumed since nothing new has been announced in quite a while?
In addition to what Nemesis Primal said about Foghorn Overlord being in Machinima's Prime Wars Trilogy cartoon, Thunderwing did get some motion picture action in Transformers Prime: The Game, which features some rather cinematic cutscenes and almost all the same voice cast as the show (though, no toy was ever made of him, either).AllNewSuperRobot wrote:Sabrblade wrote:From Hasbro's perspective, they'd be like "We just did a perfectly good Overlord back in Titans Return."
