Too late for that now!

SciFi80sGameFan wrote:But what are the people who have the original g1 and bought the Kingdom version supposed to do now? We thought just getting kingdom with our g1 would be enough to match the movie image of the two Cyclonus' in the "And his armada" scene. 2+1=3 figures NOT 2. This Selects one is the best out of the 3 and the colors match perfectly with the g1. Had I known this was going to come out, I WOULD NOT HAVE BOUGHT KINGDOM. If I get this (which I really want to because it's THE best looking and best packed accessories set) I'LL BE STUCK WITH AN ODDBALL OUT. WHAT DO WE DO? I really don't want the hastle of trying to sell my still sealed Kingdom Cyclonus on Ebay. I've never sold anything before and don't want to learn all the details on how to without getting burned by some buyer who might want to try to return it later for some dumb/weird reason and I'd have to figure out how much to sell it for to break even from buying at in store retail and not loose money in shipping or ebay fees or sales tax on ebay, and then worry about ebay sending me some kind of 1099 tax form next year to report the income and have extra work to file my dam taxes. What a hastle. Thanks.

The green one, no. But a purple one based on the G2 Hero figure was released in Legends:
... or was he based on G2 Archforce?
Transformers Generation 2 Archforce Gallery
Anyway, technically that's Beast Wars Megatron as the head, but still counts

As you saw, I added the Centurion guy in the team to represent the base mode rada dishes and such. It works well! Then, a population of Micromasters.
BTW, that Grendizer picture is a digital color print from an artist at the Montreal Comiccon in 2018 or 2019. I also bought the his original black and white drawing. Then I framed them both in a custom frame. The total price was expensive as fok but well worth it!

I mean if something seamlessly adds to or makes something complete I get it, but to replace current parts by taking the toy apart is something I'm just not confident in doing. But I'm glad it worked for you.
Speaking of Grenadier, did you watch Golodorak which was popular in Canada back in the day? We got a watered down Version called "Grandizer" in the U.S., only 26 episodes. Discotek released Mazinger Z and Great Mazinger on DVD a while back. I hope they get Grenadier eventually, even though I have the whole series fansubbed.

I has been discussed before, but parts-swapping between the two is impossible. Especially the heads.

Discotek Media has released several of Go Nagai super robot series on DVD or SD on BRD. ( Most Mazinger stuff etc). Sadly still no Grendizer or original Getter Robo/G/Go. Quality fan subs exist, but nothing official in the west...yet.
ZeroWolf wrote:That's a shame, though I guess they must think it'd diminishing returns the further away from Mazinger they go.

Nah, I'm sure its just a matter of time, they've released some pretty obscure stuff I'd never even heard of:
Google Astroganger or Acrobunch if you have spare time. Just two of dozens of great releases form Discotek.

I could go broke with what they've released.
