Entertainment Earth is setting up their booth at SDCC and we get a better look at that tiny image they leaked the other day showing us the upcoming DK3 which is Diaclone Blue Trailbreaker. This is quite fun for fans who have a Diaclone collection represented by Transformers figures with modern day engineering. And of course, as Transformers toys were repaints of Diaclone toys back in 84 (you can see the original DK3 below), this Diaclone themed toy is a straight redeco of a Transformers toy. We thank TFFanpage101 for the pic.

It would be cool if they retooled to have a Diaclone head...though how that would work with Ironhide is beyond me. Just remove the head altogether? Arms wouldn't be in the right place...

Well maybe if you guys didn’t make petty complaints like this you guys could maybe post news like velocitron is up for preorder at pulse and Walmart before they sell out especially since cosmos already is at both

Well damn. Clampdown is sold out too now. I got "Scourge", Override and Road Rocket so far. Road Hauler, Burn Out and Blurr I don't think will sell out anywhere and I can pick them up when I see them or something. I don't think Road Rocket will sell out either but I just wanted to make sure I had her. Shame I want two Clampdown with him being sold out already though, I really want those white hinges for Red Alert. I'm sure I'll find at least one of him in store at some point or doing an online restock.

Popping the Kingdom mold's shoulders off that hinge piece sucks though compared to the Siege mold. What a drag. It'll be worth it though.

actually some people, especially with sticker kits, do simply leave the head down behind the windshield.

I feel like I missed something, but if we had DK-2 Guard and now DK-3 Breaker, who was DK-1?

Edit: Oh, I see, the DK Prefixes match the original designations of the Diakron release of Diaclone figures, so DK-1 WOULD be Selects Spin-Out. Wonder why they skipped using it for him?

Spin-Out.

He just didn't have the Diakron number in his two-pack release with Cordon.

Because unlike "Guard" and "Breaker", Spin-Out was made into a TF character years before Selects back when they still actually gave new Diaclone TFs real names. So far the only Diaclone updates that have just been given these lazy droid-like designations have been the ones that have never had TF releases until this year.

I got the SG bug but I wanted my toys to be perfect. So here's SG Ratchet with new feet and Reprolabels. Also, DK-Guard who have been converted into SG Ironhide with Repros and new feet. The :SG-BOTS:

are sideways on the bot's shoulders because they priorise the vehicle modes. I had to repaint the windows of the rear of the vehicle (new feet) so that they match their repros. I think I managed well enough.

As for SG Optimus Prime, I gave him the Alternate Universe Optimus Prime (A.K.A Dead Prime) trailer. IMO, it works better than the Nemesis Prime trailer. Furthermore, Nemesis can't lose his trailer while it makes no sense for dead Optimus to have a trailer.

I also bought a trailer upgrade kit for SG Prime. I bought it twice to give one to Nemesis, but it only could work with a severe mod.

The partner of the T30 Gen. Legend Cliffjumper makes for a perfect SG Roller.

Finally some expensive repros on SG Prime and his trailer. Worth it!

It was lots of work to do, but very rewarding IMO.
