I think the Ironhide/Crosshairs/Ratchet mold proves they're willing to do more than just one alternate head, so Ironfist/Ironclad could absolutely happen.

Shame Pulse hasn't shown any sign of shipping Lancer and Galactic Man yet even though they're paid for and in stock.

You say that the cons need filling out, but don't they outnumber the bots at voyager level? It could be why deluxe looks so con-barren but the bots are supposed to be smaller.

@bvzxa I can see why you would have grounds on Target but Hasbro will just say they had no idea that Red Wing was going to be put behind the Red Card. Can't see why you're dragging them into it when it sounds like your main beef is with Target and how they're handling this particular exclusive.

That is some neat trivia. Guess those set designers will use anything if it works... :roll:

Chug collector moment: I never knew that G1 Shockwave was HUGE! The set photos had me a little curious, so I checked the old galleries. If G1 Megatron was a siege voyager, Shockwave was at least a Prime Wars Leader. Much like with Blaster, I had no idea.

Technically, two heads per shell seems to be the norm. Ironhide and Crosshairs are one shell, Ratchet is another

Ironfist/Ironclad/Fisitron can still happen as a reshelling of Hound.

Just got Redwing delivered and the hinge for his back immediately snapped off. Very soft plastic. I'm glad I ordered two! Gonna return it.

Be careful if you ordered him! Didn't have this issue with Starscream...

Ouch, that sucks. Make sure you take a picture and complain to Hasbro via their website to make sure they know about the problem.

Another interesting idea for Selects would to remold an Aerialbot; I’d go with Skydive; into Sweeps and sell a four pack of them to combine with TR Cyclonus. The ultimate endpoint of Combiner Wars: not only the same mold four times like the Moonracer mold for Orthia, but the exact same figure four times.

Hmm, redcard exclusive Redwing.

With as niche as he is, I think I'll wait to see if he ends up on regular Target availability. I'm doing the same with Greenlight on Amazon. I just don't want to get an extra card or service for a figure. Even though Redwing is the seeker that looks by far the best.

As for the new selects, I gotta catch up on con stuff. I'm really salty about a lack of Studio Series.

I am kicking myself a bit for Reflector, but I think I will stick with my retail and not worry about the extra. I need to get Lancer so I can complete my final combiner team.

Are there no alternatives for getting Red Wing? Like, are BBTS and TFSource not going to try to get him like they would try to get TCC exclusives?

Also doesn't change the point that BBTS and TFSource have historically gotten a hold of other retailers' exclusives regardless. They both currently have the Entertainment Earth exclusives on preorder.

And, RobotKingdom did previously have Red Wing in stock long before the figure was put on Target.com.
