Rodimus Prime wrote:Way back when the Seacons were first announced I made up my mind to get them all at once instead of 1 or 2 at a time. I wonder if that was a mistake financially...will the whole set demand a higher price on the aftermarket, or will they be released as a set as well, perhaps as a redeco, like the G2 versions of the other combiners were?

Right?
Better by far. So is Star Convoy delayed overall or just from BBTS.
IDK, I like the overall design of the original toy for Cybertron Defense Hot Shot, but it was nowhere near as poseable as this new one is. Best of both worlds we'd get an update directly of the original design with modern articulation and engineering, but for now I'll happily take this new one.
The original had missiles ontop of missiles, no need to do yoga.
Then I guess you will be ignoring this line altogether since Selects is nothing but redecos and retools, being the spiritual successor to the BotCon/TCC exclusives.DMSL wrote:Not interested in Hot Shot or Cromar, just boring repaints/retools.

Zeedust wrote:The seacons look nice enough to overcome the fact that "fish with legs" is an inherently dumb alt-mode, but I really hope they're available for normal ordering at some point since I'd like to see a review or two before I pay that much.
I just placed an order for Lancer from Action Robo, and based on my previous order of Red Wing from them, I should probably have her in about seven or eight days if this order ships as quick as Red Wing did.o.supreme wrote:ok so many sites now have preorders for Hotshot and Cromar. BBTS says estimated arrival as Q4 2020...??? So EE has these at the Convention NOW, but BBTS wont have them for another year??? I'm hoping that was a typo. Would be nice to get Lancer and Cromar together in the same shipment in December.

Granted, their price was more expensive, but I didn't want to risk missing out on her again.o.supreme wrote:Thanks. BBTS did update their release date, but this may be a viable option. Thank you

I also hate that you cannot use paypal for pre-orders.

Is it wrong I like that color scheme the most for the Seacons?

Hellscream9999 wrote:So, since tfsource is the only site to have pre-orders up for the last two seacons, am I right in assuming they're gong for the cash grab with what they assume will be the price, etc., or are they exclusive to them this time 'round?

And now Pulse has Hotshot in stock along with Cromar. I just cancelled my pre-order with EE and went Pulse since I have premium.
