2. As several people have pointed out, the painting and accessories of the Seacons ARE better than what you'd get with a retail Deluxe limb, plus the retooling is quite extensive. So no, it really isn't something that could have been released at $18 a piece.

True but I think they wanted to take advantage of Prime turning into Star Convoy that the PotP leader mold gave them
However Star Convoy from the Octane mold would be in scale with that Megatron, have a more accurate alt mode (especially if they tooled some threads) and possibly a space shuttle/spaceship mode from the plane mode, which would have fitted the concept better and even elevated it beyond the G1 space truck.
Wolfman Jake wrote:I still want to see a picture of Super/Ultra Megatron next to Star Convoy, just to get a sense of how out of scale they are with each other. Or, maybe Star Convoy is supposed to be bigger than either Super or Ultra Megatron?

The best set is to turn him into Action Master Optimus Prime. This really make him stand out.

1) Most likely they replied to the NEWS ARTICLE that was up less than a Day ago and not through the thread itself. There is nothing to quote that way and you cannot see the progression of the thread prior to. News article Posts just tack on to the end of the relevant topic thread. And yes, we all know it gets SUPER annoying come Toy Fairs when there are like 6 news articles connecyed to the same topic page going rapid fire.
