Thank goodness Rwoop & Ricochet are finally in. I've been holding off preordering them as I didn't want to risk getting my credit card charged on a random day when I don't have the available money.

And yeah, as of recent, The Transformers line(s) have been confusing the heck out of me. So we have Siege, as well as generation selects, which is a subline of siege, but is also a subline of Potp due to Rwoop & Ricochet, then we have the 35th anniversary subline for Siege, which I have no idea whether or not that counts as selects or not, then we have Takara doing their own thing with their mall exclusives.

...My head hurts, but it isn't really a bad thing, as it just means more things to look forward to.

Then that guy couldn't be a combiner limb and the other guys still couldn't be guns. I'd like to think that'd be acceptable, but I know better. Even if four limbs and one gun is good enough in theory. it's guaranteed to start an argument over why they made the one they did guns instead of a limb and who should have been the guns instead.

Greenlight and the supposed Lancer aren't Selects figures (or at least we know Greenlight isn't), they're just regular Siege exclusives. I do want to know where my Ricochet is though...

If Grand Max was any indication, a BlackZarak would probably be a Takara initiative, albeit possibly made based on a preorder quota.

Observation about Snaptrap/Turtler:

There don't appear to be any POTP-style feet in this picture.

One possibility is that they are considered extra accessories and not pictured; Possible, but I put that at about 30 % likely.

Second possibility is that Hasbro acknowledged what seemed to be mostly negative feedback about the POTP-appendage pieces and went back to Combiner Wars HFGs; This seems most likely to me.

Third possibility is that there are pieces like Computron/Baldigus and Victorion/Megatronia. This seems almost as likely as possibility 2.

Fourth and least likely; NEW combiner pieces that function similar to the Perfect Effect pieces and will (hopefully) become available for all previous combiners. I only even bring up this dream scenario because HasTak has been throwing us A BUNCH of bones, lately.

It’s a selects box, but I didn’t get much past opening the shipping box and seeing the individually boxed items. I ended up forgetting them at work. :BANG_HEAD: I don’t know if the reversible side is the same as megatron but the exterior is the same.

They have different designs. Megatron had a Siege design while Red Swoop and Ricochet are PotP themed.

Got to mess around with my Ricochet and Red Swoop today. They look great but man...are they loose! For something you are paying slightly higher than retail for, you would think the QC would be better, not worse. They almost feel like knockoff plastic, not typical Hasbro product....

I'm glad to have them I guess, but one of my combiners will always have a super floppy arm, and leg that can barely hold its own, as long as you don't touch it while being *fiddly* propped up...
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

They are standard retail, unless you are trying to compare them to a standard PotPie deluxe release from last year, which would have been a couple bucks lower.
