Undocumented feature time! While the earthrise airlock ports on legacy metroplex have been known about for a while, I don't think I've seen any mention made of the fact that they are on flaps to make them have more a more roadlike connection! There isn't actually enough clearance to actually send most micromasters through the resulting tunnel due to protruding plastic bracing the mid shin connection; of the micromasters I have that weren't in deep storage, the siege police car and 4 earthrise racecar molds were the only ones short enough to fit. Other micromasters and/or older minicons might fit, but that's beyond my purview.

Amazon delivered my Motormaster today and I gotta say, he's amazing. Not perfect, but very posable and I like the transformation. Menasor mode's very nice, though I wish that the tower incorporated into the bot outside of a fan moded wing pack. He also somehow feels bigger than the pictures made him look. Definitely worth getting imo

there's something about Pointblank (not calling him Blanker), that draws me to him. Might just get him. Car mode is not bad. Don't know yet.

Definitely getting Dead End. So close to a Porsche it's uncanny.

Pointblank looks great, especially alt mode. Wish he could do the connection like JG1 Targetmasters, but oh well. Dead End looks very good, can't wait to have the fully assembled Menasor

Pointblanks falling into my category of needing upgrades to look good/be complete hence no buy, but even with out his shield he is still on my wants list.

I see lots of people making fun of the target master that comes with point blank and I get it, it looks almost exactly like a toy from the 80s. But we are getting a targetmaster with a deluxe at the deluxe pricepoint. I remember people refusing to pay the price of a targetmaster and a deluxe two pack when the Greenlight toy came out years ago (which made fans wait for a discount that never came and leading to a crazy aftermarket due to people choosing not to buy it originally when it was plenty available).

Would people truly have preferred paying $35 for a deluxe point blank and a better targetmaster?

I bought that Greenlight. She was 25 bucks. LOL Now she's virtually priceless.

Anyway, I'm not one of the ones "making fun" of Peacemaker, but I would want a consistent look across my Battlemasters so I'll figure out a way to replace him. The easiest way I think is to simply pass on G2 Sideswip's Battlemaster to Pointblank when he comes to me.

A lot to take in here... Personally I have no issue per se with the Legacy Pointblank/Peacemaker other than the lack of consistency.

As noted above, we will now have had 3 "master" types developed in the past 5 years (TT Legends Targetmasters, WFC Battlemasters, and now this one).

I got Greenlight immediately to complete Orhtia, but the Battlemaster was nice as I was collecting them as well. There's no way her crazy price on the secondary market could have been foreseen. As for added price for a WFC Battle Master.... why not? There's been plenty of precedent, starting with Greenlight, then in the Netflix WFC line. Heck even some bonuses are packed in without added cost (Kingdom/Legacy Blaster with Eject). Also We have things like Legacy Red Cog, with an added $10 for some accessories. I could easily see Legacy Pointblank coming with an accurate WFC styled Battlemaster packed in for $27-$30 USD, no problem if they wanted to make it an exclusive. Or just normal retail, and spread the cost elsewhere like they did with Blaster.

TT/Hasbro chose not to go that route, which is fine. One less toy for me to try to get (not that its bad, just not on my list). But there were certainly options.

Man, the Legacy Optimus Prime that I had preordered at Gamestop and was scheduled to arrive on July 1 still hasn't come in stock, it isn't even on the site anymore! I doubt I'll be pre-ordering with them again. It'd be one thing if it was just one delay and I could say it was just bad luck, but I also don't see any movement on my SS86 Sludge who was scheduled for August 1. I get it, shipping delays are a common occurrence, but they should do what all other sites do and just push back the arrival date rather than a vague description of "awaiting product availability". Availability where? From Hasbro? In the warehouse? It's become frustrating, never thought I'd have Scourge before Prime!

If the price is the same everywhere, you're screwed. But if it's a place that overcharge like Canadian Toys R Us, it's an easy choice to shop elsewhere.
