I'm getting confused myself. TFwiki just made me more confused.

It would be different than Menasor, because the actual Hotspot figure would have to become the torso, but would we have to get an entirely new mold? And even if we do, can Hasbro make the vehicle mode still look like a blue Inferno? CW Hotspot's truck mode didn't really work.

Hotspot was a different style fire truck (and one I definitely saw more in 'real life'). I have the CW Protectobots, and they aren't the best, but they aren't the worst either. I probably would want Hotspot to just be Hotspot. Although the other combiners didn't have the 'frame' aspect of Menasor, I could see them still creatively implementing the same kind of transformation for all those guys.

I think when it comes to the turn of the other combiners, they'll approach each one as its own thing and design the combining system around that (while Menasor had lucky accident compatibility with CW, I bet the others won't even have that.)
However, if rumours are to be believed we might not be looking at another combiner till the line after next if they were to follow the stunticon pattern.

Yeah. I held up my plans for Unite Warriors Superion for the possibility, but he's back on the menu because I can enjoy a good two years before I need to think about replacing it.

Just buy the KO combiner wars, it's a lot cheaper and worth the money you pay!

I'm almost aghast to admit it, but I have the KO combiner wars Constructicons that are 'deluxe' sized and I can tell you they are just as good quality as the Hasbro ones, only smaller.

Indeed. My comment was a one-off. I'm getting the real Unite Warriors Superion. LOL

I don't mind, as much as I love the original pretenders, I also would not mind a Monstructor using the shell/robot fusion

I can take a good guess: Motormaster suffered from being the afterthought to Prime. Hasbro designed the MM mold with Optimus in mind, and Prime had to have the correct truck mode, so they decided to try to shoehorn the torso mode into it. And it simply just wasn't enough real estate. Hence why he's so floppy.Burn wrote:I don't know how they got it so wrong when all the other combiners were pretty bloody solid.
