The Classics Mirage mold is pretty great. Very stylish. And Siege Mirage is fine too.

The classics mold too curvy, very odd looking. I think it works better for Crasher The siege mold is very bad, it has a faux chest in robot mode that isn't well hidden in alternate mode.

Honestly, my biggest issue is that the display is a random hammer that's supposed to be "iconic" (yes I know the has a hammer in the forehead, but since when was using a physical hammer a part of Wrecker lore? At best it's related to Ultra Magnus), instead of something more recognizable to the fans like, say, the Xantium or that statue of Emirate Xaaron in the artwork's background.

Nitro Convoy is a he, and Override is a she is that helps .

Fine with me, I didn't really need the ARK to Transform and almost whished that it didn't since I can't get it to display quite right in ship mode without it coming apart at the seams.

Yeah, Figueroa made it look like it should transform, when it doesn't, since he based it on the altmode of one of his fanfic characters.

Just because it's not a living Transformer doesn't mean it couldn't transform. We've had cases of Cybertronian-driven mecha before.






But that's why i think it would be a good display even as a cardboard; because it's better known as a ship than as anything else.

I think the price of current Transformers might be too much for many in my neighbourhood. One of my walmarts finally got the legacy Deluxes and Voyagers, it was the only one to get them in my area. I posted it everywhere I could to let people know. I get back a week later and all the figures I saw were still there. No restock, just that single case of voyagers and deluxes. And these toys are not available at Gamestop yet, nor amazon, nor TRU, so this is people's only option locally without importing if they want them now. Yet still, no, even from local fans who must have the latest toys. This interests me because it shows that there is a price limit on these toys in this dear hobby of ours. Also, this is just a local matter, it cannot be extrapolated to other countries because the whole point is that Hasbro is screwing Canadians on exchange rate. With taxes, the deluxes come out to $41.36 CAD, which converted to US is $32 taxes included (not that far off, now that I think of it).

That is one of the main reasons I'm already ready to pull the plug on this hobby.

Part of it could be that most people already preordered/bought online though, after months of nothing hitting stores a person might give up on local retail.

Canada isn't as mature with the online purchase options as the US. And the anazon.ca orders have nit shipped yet, so they could be cancelled, especially since Anazon.ca has proven unreliable in the past. Really seems like the collector market shrunk.

Amazon.ca is not the cheapest option with their prices similar to Walmart. At least they didn't followed TrU.

So far, if you conveniently ignore the occasional crushed boxes, Amazon.ca is flawless in fulfilling my orders. I think the only times they screwed-up were for the ER special sets. And if I remember that's because some containers were dumped into the sea because God Neptune or some shizz.

No, they got their orders in and then dumped them to a reselling distributor. That's how I eventually got my copy. Ever since then, no more anazon preorders from me.

I have preorders from Gamestop and there's a slight discount when ordering there, so I'm waiting even if I spot them.

Yeah, those prices have me second guessing this hobby (I'm Canadian too). Especially as I have most of these characters in some form. It really cuts down on the impulse buys. It used to be that just buying a deluxe was no big deal, but the cost is really hitting home.

As for Amazon, after the mess that was Ironhide / Ratchet and the Coneheads I hope they never have a relevant exclusive ever again.

It was more like about 2 months, late in the summer of 2020. I remember clearly. Because it was quite a struggle to obtain an ER Scorponok for a few reasons 1. It was the first Generations Titan at B&M Retail in the U.S. since 2017, and 2. It happened to be a really good, highly desired item. I'm not sure what the MOQ (Minimum Order Quantity) -A Term I learned by watching Specter Creative* was, but for 2 similarly priced items - Target could not keep ER Scorponok on shelves, they would sell out almost immediately, whereas MPM SS- just shelf warmed, EVERY Target store in my area had 3 or 4 of them. The exact same thing happened with MPM Ratchet a few months later, so Target decided to clearance it.

After 2 years, I'm not sure why Target would want to take another chance on an MPM, (The upcoming Blackout, which is even more expensive) unless they were able to get a much lower MOQ?

I think a much better example of a *weird decision* made by a corporation would be Walmart with Siege Jetfire. Why THEY decided to clearance out one of the (arguably) best items of that year, so soon after its release (truly in this case, after only a few weeks) is still puzzling. None in my area ever got to the clearance price, but for those few fortunate ones who did, obviously they got a great deal, and none stuck around for very long. That was truly Walmarts loss, as they had already paid Hasbro whatever the full MOQ order price was, and the item was so popular, Hasbro went on to make a second run of it early in 2020.

Don't care what their reason might be, first bitten and twice shy. Ain't preordering from them again.

Plus they also screwed up orders more recently with the Kingdom exclusive Golden Disk terrorsaur in Canada. But I had learnt my lesson, I ordered mine from Amazon.com and got it. Those who ordered from Amazon.ca got screwed, again.
