This whole G1ification is starting to eat it's own tail. I get the appeal of getting this treatment for characters from non G1 eras, having them all fit in a cohesive look. But what's the point of making a G1 version of Prime Arcee when she is already a toon version of an already existing G1 character? Now we have 2 G1 arcees, how much freaken G1 do you need???? I don't think it looks good either, just something that exists. Honestly, these reveals were not that great. Now I am off to get my Pulsecon exclusive.

I'm not paying near £50 for deluxe Ravage with a tape. Price madness. Going to have to wait and see the price of Galvatron. Hasbros got me with a few Power Rangers purchases (Cog, Pig, Pirantis and I'm liking the near 12" Megazord). I dont remeber Zartan being £37!!! but sadly I'll be paying that for him

makes Ravages price almost look okay.

Hmm Prime Arcee looks a but better then how bulky turned out, probably a plus with not having to share a mold with Optimus Prime.

I love kickback's wings.

Dragstrip, I'm undecided at the moment. If i got him, and his buddies, they'd probably spend most of the time in uncombined mode (assuming they're working with cars stuck on limbs G1 Menasor).

Lazer Prime, didn't see it coming that it was a WfC Prime retool.

The Arcees are still two different characters, they just have the same name. I don't know if that's canon, but that's the wiki's problem, not mine. (Edited to add: they agree.)

I am probably going to get everyone but Prime, since I have the TR multipack version and intend to get the inevitable Scourge. I got a handful of the Prime-unique* characters including Bulkhead and Knockout, but I'll probably sell them to replace with these G1 versions since that will better integrate with the rest of my collection. I already have the Insecticons from Prime Wars, but I can keep them as clones and use Legacy as the standards. My UW Menasor is probably worthless now, but I'm eager to upgrade him. I saw someone criticize Dragstrip's alt-mode, but I think I'll like it a lot more than the UW take.

This is far from the first time I'm buying Generations G1 again, but between SS86 and Legacy, they're now the majority of my new purchases. Only Skids will be truly new to my collection.

Ohhhh that Laser Prime is going to make a BEAUTIFUL Scourge, hell yeah.

Dragstrip can't be further off my radar, zero interest in redoing combiners we already did.

Kickback is everything I wanted him to be, give me Bombshell like this Hasbro. Shrapnel can come too, I guess...actually heck, just do all of 'em. The cartoon trio, Deluxe Insecticon retools, Diaclone repaints, the whole deal. Give me a full-on Insecticon hive, I'm ready.

Arcee is great, love it. They handled her kibble about as well as they could, I think, the Energon arm blades aren't half-bad, I really like that bike mode, and even if they probably only did it for retool purposes, I like that her torso is less overtly bikini-looking. Not only am I down for this as my definite Arcee (G1 Arcee ain't even a contender), but I'd totally grab a Flamewar or the potential Road Rocket from this.

EDIT: Ooh, and Bulkhead has actual molded vehicle bits and weapon storage under the alt mode tarp, it isn't just hiding overt robot bits or something? Niiiice.

I wonder if they didn't reveal Blaster because he's still in Kingdom? They still haven't put up a reveal or orders for Pipes and Slammer, who are supposedly his wave-mates, and last year we did still get some Earthrise reveals after the Kingdom announcement.

Lack of Cores really bugs me though, I was really looking forward to seeing Iguanus.

Bummed they didn’t reveal the other voyager.
Arcee looks more like strongarm to me, and the flat panel torso was bad on SS Dino and is still bad here

If the Voyager Soundwave listing for Legacy does turn out to be a repack of Netflix Soundwave, I’m betting it will finally come with a Buzzsaw “Micromaster.” That would be a nice parallel with the G1 release of Soundwave. Plus, Legacy Blaster is rumored to come with either Eject or Rewind, so why not do the same for Soundwave? I also hope the deco will be improved, like matching the yellows/golds on the tape door and chest stripes better, and adding red pinstripes to the wrists and batteries.

Arcee looks nice. The G1ification works better than Bulkhead. But I won't get her. I already have FE and no room for it.

Laser Prime has ER Prime's lower legs? Kinda wish he had Siege's, though. Once you see the vestigial trailer port you can't unsee it. Still, makes me look forward to the Nemesis version (or Black Convoy, whatever).

Dragstrip. I guess I'll get the Stunticons and have faith that Menasor looks good? Wish I didn't have to do though, though. It'd be nice to have a full reveal for the combiner.

Kickback looks great.

I'm kinda hoping Soundwave goes back to G1 sized cassettes and same with Blaster as the WFC ones are pretty terrible but passable as chronoform watch bots.

I got to agree with you there. I mean, I appreciate the attempt, unifying the brands and all into one universal aesthetic. But.... it wasn't just the shows or the toys that made the different eras of transformers great, it was the unique styles for each.

I am sure at some point they will drop a geewunified Animated or something bot that I will have to have because reasons, but for now, I am really not feeling it. MONEY SAVED YAY! :DANCE:

Don't know about lazerrod prime. He looks great, even with re-using earthrise/siege prime parts. But do I need a modern version of him, when I have the original? it was a pretty epic optimus to begin with. Probably not. The obligatory Scourge/Nemesis repaint, given that it literally is the mold the first version of the character is based off, also falls into the same, "It's neat, but I am happy with my original" category.

welp, wake me when Tarantulus, Inferno, and Blaster are shown off.

Woof, this line is clearly not for me. Getting a real Combiner Wars aesthetic from a lot of these, and that is not a compliment.

Only one that looks OK to me is Laser OP, which is apparently another reuse of the WFC/Earthrise mold, with another tiny trailer like Earthrise had.

Reeeeeally need those last Beast Wars characters to be good...

Well, not that it had that much use on the Siege figure anyway.

It was there to accommodate the trailer Siege did not come with. And yes you could peg in the shield / Axe there, but there are also 6 other ports you could use in vehicle mode.

You can still use it on ER to plug in a weapon if you want to, so its at least as useful as it was on Siege.
