It was Rattrap who said that. He was being facetious, like when somebody says "This a recon mission, not World War Three."First-Aid wrote:Something Blackarachnia said in BW keeps popping into my mind: "Great War Three". If the war between the Autobots and the Decepticons was the first Great War and ended shortly after the hate plague, what was the Second Great War?
The Autobots and Maximals were in charge of Cybertron during that time, not the Decepticons.First-Aid wrote:Is that what caused the Great Upgrade? Another loss of energon on the planet...the 'Cons end up controlling most of it under new leadership and the result is the Great Upgrade by the Autobots as they turn to Maximals and are no longer "archaic energon guzzlers" as Purple Megs refers to them before blasting Op Prime at the end of BW season 2.

Maybe for your American perspective. But for this here Canadian perspective, buying this at Gamestop was quite a steal at 66$CAN plus taxes as a Platinum member. Meaning that it's the same price as the 53$us Pulse charge... minus the mandatory 25$US of shipping. And if you consider that Dracula is the SAME PRICE as Ravage over here, Ravage give me way more value. Especially with a G1 Ravage included.
But eh, to each their own I guess.

Him being a 2 pack rather than a single figure is a reason.

That would be G1 Iguanus, who is one of the Core Class figures coming that they didn't reveal for some reason.TK415 wrote:Who is that purple dragon in the promo pic? Or iguana?

So, wait, are you saying that g1 ravage is supposed to justify an extra $20 charge (assuming that ravage got a $10 increase for the significant remolding)?

Both of whom look really, really good.
All I really want are these new Insecticons, Stunticons, and Blitzwing, the other 3 Dinobots, Blaster and Perceptor and and I will be so close to bowing out of the collecting game.
Everything/anything else along the way is just icing

Cause if Wave 1 comes out December like the other lines, that's not too much time? Or is Wave 1's missing voyager and leader Soundwave and Galvatron refreshes? Cause they don't tend to show off the refreshes for the lines

I am not saying that. You said there was no reason for a 2 pack to cost more than a single packed figure, which makes no sense. Hasbro has valued the major retooling, extra guns, custom packaging and extra figure to justify $30 more. We may not like it, me included, but I can definitely see reasons for him to cost more than draculus.
