Wow...
Good on Hastak for doing the right thing with Cosmos.
That whole exclusivity situation was just stupid.
Which also reminds me how annoying it is that two of the Stunticons were hard to find exclusives. When figures are part of a combiner, that's just poor form.

Not so much exclusivity vs being shortpacked or not-available.
The problem with dead end was being only 1 per case (like Cosmos). If they were 2 per case, and had wider sidtribution, the problem goes away. But again like yuo said, Good on Hasbro for fixing Walmarts Blunder. Same for Galaxy Shuttle. I was one of the fortunate ones that managed to get him on walmart.com, but he was never in store.
I understand when there is an uneven number of toys, someone has to get shorted, but thats what Package refreshes are ideally for. Not re re-release toys readily available.
Many complained about how difficult it was to obtain all the limbs for PotP Orthia. While it was an Amazon Exclusive, a Selects, and 2 standard retail. All were pretty easy to obtain at the time.
Bucket/Want List: Botcon 2016 Customization Class Ratchet (G2 Deco), or Customization Class Ratchet (Marvel Comics Deco) **would also be willing to pay for an Unpainted Botcon 2016 Ratchet, TT Legends Fortress Head (only) with working Electronics

No, it is 100% an exclusivity thing.
My local Walmart carried almost nothing from Velocitron, and I still have yet to see ANYTHING from Toxitron. Literally not one figure.
Had either of these Stunticons been regular retail releases, I could've bought them from any number of online retailers (possibly with free shipping) very, very easily.

Thanks to JTPrime, we now know of new listings within the Legacy United line. While G2 Breakdown and Armada Wheeljack are new, all others are reteleases of sought after toys and figures which were moved, like Sureshot and core class BW Dinobot. Fans should be very happy about this.

Oh no. Oh NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...!
Amid all these awesome listings, I just noticed the one that terrifies me the most: Leader class Overcharge.
Who is Overcharge, you ask? Not "who", "what". Overcharge is a redeco of Blitzwing. In very ordinary, non-striking colors. And is a troop-builder, no less, so there might be a lot of them to go around.
With how badly Blitzwing has shelf-warmed thus far, I dread how badly Overcharge is going to do the same.
We just can't escape that mold.

Blitzwing definitely holds the shelf warming title for this line. Galvatron held that title for a while but lost it to that wacky triple changer!

I for one will be treating him as a Diaclone transplant, if I wanted an accurate army of Overcharges I'd sticker up some Blitzwing figures.
I'm curious just how close to the exclusive these PRs will be. We've never really seen Hasbro do this before, but considering Legacy Dirge wasn't 100% like the original I'm guessing we'll see some slight changes here as well.
Meanwhile, still no Bumblebee.

With that white and green colour scheme he *might* make a decent troop builder for a G2 Cybertronian Empire Decepticon. Jhiaxus needs an army after all, and I'm not too many people want more than a couple of the Buzzworthy Troop Builder pack just for the Cybertronian Trooper.

The lack of Bumblebee is getting a bit suspicious. It could just be typical corporate hypercorrection, with them just not wanting to release any extra Bumblebees AT ALL now. They did make sure not to feature him in the comic book, for example. But there's another possibility: that they're not rerealising the Netflix Bumblebee because a new one is in the works. ALthough they're taking their sweet time to rerelease Soundwave too, so maybe it's just them taking a long time and that's it.

Armada Wheeljack is a big surprise for me. Of the Armada characters that I would have expected to get the Legacy treatment, he was pretty low on the list, but I'm all for it.

This is a leaked list for over 12 months away…
And…
There’s two bumblebee listed for 2024 already and a movie bee for studio series in 2025.

Somehow I missed this one, so this is the first time I'm seeing it. In light of that, it makes a lot of sense to make Armada Wheeljack, especially given that they already have the scar on the mold and everything.

Wow, yeah in light of this Armada Wheeljack is very unsurprising.
While Armada Wheeljack isn't a character I would have guessed there would be enough demand for, I hadn't thought about how easy of toy it is to make using Sideswipe molds, so that makes a lot of sense.

Though, sadly, I don't expect the Wheeljack version to come with his Mini-Con since it's just going to be a normal retail release, and none of the normal retail releases of Armada characters in the Legacy line have come with theirs. It took Hot Shot getting a special online exclusive in order for him to get Jolt included.#1 Signal Lancer fan wrote:Sabrblade wrote:The SG Sideswipe even came with his Mini-Con.

So now we've seen Armada Prime, Hot Shot, and Wheeljack, and Megatron and Starscream. I wonder if we are going to see one of the other 'Cons (besides Tidal Wave). I said when it came out that the Jhiaxus mold had Armada Thrust vibes to it but it may be a bit big.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

If they were to do a thrust we’ve already seen it on hotshots packaging. It’s a ER seeker retool. Evan said that was the art team being cheeky and isn’t planned but considering it exists in art it would be logical to assume they would go with that look
Don’t see how you look at jhiaxus and see thrust. They’re completely different in both modes but mainly robot. Literally nothing goes where it would on thrust. The seeker doesn’t really but the art makes it work to an extent. I also hate the “this mold can work with this character!” In an era where hasbro isn’t really doing that anymore at all. We’re not getting simple head swaps and saying good enough unless it really works for the character which more times then any it does unless it’s a super obscure character they just wanted to do like galaxy shuttle

My Armada wish list right now (in order):
Sideways
Jetfire (hopefully with a Legacy Prime combination)
Blurr
Demolishor
Thrust
A Nemesis Prime repaint

That's why I go back to distribution. That was YOUR experience. Mine was that I saw almost every Velocitron toy in abundance. So much so that they went on clearance (except obviously for Cosmos (never saw) & Clampdown (only saw a couple times))
Same with the Toxitron line. Especially Toxitron himself, and G2 Grimlock, clogging shelves for months One store in my area still has them. But I never saw G2 Dead End because he was 1 per case. Ended up paying a scalper price for him. If all the excess that my area, and several other areas had, made its way to areas that got none such as yours, this wouldn't be an issue, thus it is Walmarts screw up.
But I guess all of this is moot since Hasbro is reissuing most of them. If you never saw Override or Road Hauler, all I can say is; try to network with fans. They were like rabbits multiplying and clogging shelves at stores in my area. Unfortunately I didn't want them. but I'm always willing to ship to fans at cost, and I know others will as well, for anything that they may not have access to.
Wish List of Modern Combiners: Road Caesar, Monstructor & Dinoking (proper size to fiction), Landcross, Guard City, Battle Gaia, & G2 Defensor. Wish List of Titans:Metrotitan,Majin Zarak

I wonder if we are going to see one of the other 'Cons (besides Tidal Wave). I said when it came out that the Jhiaxus mold had Armada Thrust vibes to it but it may be a bit big.
My Armada wish list right now (in order):
Sideways
Jetfire (hopefully with a Legacy Prime combination)
Blurr
Demolishor
Thrust
A Nemesis Prime repaint
One I would LOVE to see is a proper Sideswipe. That Armada Sideswipe figure was @ss.
It finally happened. The Chicago Cubs won the World Series. Yes, I cried.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.

wa never a fan of the transmetal designs but this one isn't awful by any means
Am I the only one getting the feeling that figures like this and Energon Megatron being released as core class figures is hasbro testing the waters regarding interest. Maybe if they see enough interest in the core classes they might commission them in larger scales.
