More In hand Images of Motormaster / Menasor Including CW Compatibility

Many Australians are gleefully posting their images of Motormaster and Menasor online. These give us a good look at all the various modes and reactions have been mixed. Some fine the trailer too stubby, some say it's too long, some say it's just right. Feels like the story of the three little bears. But hey, at least now we all know what to expect and can plan accordingly if we indeed want this toy in our collections. Below are more in hand images and we have a rather important one showing the Combiner Wars compatibility. Please remember, Hasbro was explicit in stating that this connection style was used because it was a good system for this particular release, NOT because it would make it backwards compatible, that is more of a coincidence than something intended.

The photos of Motormaster look absolutely juicy. These honestly make me even more excited for the figure than the actual promo shot, hah! (Probably the natural "average room" lighting that helps out a lot...)
I am quite impressed that Motormaster does indeed at least transform quite a nice amount to form the head and bit of the body. Kinda helps the frame feel less "cheatsy"...still not really a fan but it is my choice to display them combined or not. (And I definitely won't be, so it doesn't bother me.
)

It pains me how easy it would have been to work CW ports into the shoulder area and design a Menasor that would make just about everyone happy. Want Sunbow Menasor? You're covered! Want Scramble City Menasor? You're covered!

The panels are inside the bottom of the legs, inserting wild rider just causes them to fold out and and close out the legs. I know I'm not describing it well, but it was shown in a video when the toy was revealed at the fan panel last month.

I don't know. We can already see the legs are compatible. And if you look on the shoulders....
If those parts can flip up, it might just work, though I'm probably just being too optimistic.

I think you're being too optimistic, they've already said the connectivity is only in the legs, and even then it's not solid (like plugging a CW limb into Cybertron Optimus Primes arm joint)

Correct me if I'm wrong, but only the legs connect to the trailer, the arms connect to Motormaster himself, right?

I bought a G1 Iguanus shell a while back for the sole purpose of being able to put Core Iguanus inside.
