Nope, I can't stand Nick Cage. But that picture does look pretty awesome though.
He's an acquired taste. And only in small doses, and only his work in the 90s and very early 2000s.
Past that, yeah no. Stay far away from his movies.
This is a colossally bad take. Cage has gems across his entire career. Sometimes he's the best part of a good movie, sometimes he's the only interesting part of a boring movie, but the guy does the work.
There are movies like Vampire's Kiss that he gets a bad wrap for, but his performance in that is brilliant. Maybe it's not conventionally good, but it's incredible.

First Applebee's, then the marriage counselor's office, now Seibertron.com. Everyday there are more places where I'm not allowed to talk about Nic Cage! What's everyone so afraid of?!

The initial rumor was always Bulkhead sharing a mold with a Prime Optimus, so not the Leader Class figure.william-james88 wrote:People said that Prime and Bulkhead share a mold but are we talking about Prime from the Prime series or are we talking about the Leader Prime mold we are getting in Legacy?
Core we're missing the second rumored Pretender homage to go with Iguanus (which would bring us up to 7 Core releases to match Kingdom). For Deluxes, Minerva is rumored as a Walgreens exclusive, not mainline, but we are rumored to get the rest of the Stunticons, Hosehead, and Prime Knock Out (which would put us 1 figure below the 16 Deluxes that both Siege and Kingdom have had despite those 2 lines so far having different numbers of waves). The real question at this point, for me anyway, is what's going on with the Insecticons, as all three were rumored for SS86 and yet Kickback shows up in Legacy without room for both of the others to seemingly come with him.william-james88 wrote:The core class looks like that's what we are getting for the whole year. Are we 100% certain we are getting all the stunticons in 2022 or would the final two be in the next line? Because if we add them and the rumoured Nightbeat and Minerva, then I think we have too many deluxes. Unless Nightbeat or Minerva are exclusives.
Maybe not for $200, but even not considering my UT nostalgia, that's a hella unique alt mode so why not?
Elita is rumored to be a retool of something/someone with sirens, so she's likely not an Animated homage, and Laser Prime is supposed to have a completely new trailer.blackeyedprime wrote:Maybe elita 1 will be the spider version from animated? If so, then it will be a purchse from me. Most of them I'll have to wait and see the figures. Having solid versions of some characters already there might be a lot im passing on.
Not much point in laser Prime going off Earthrises primes trailer but Hasbro might have some good suprises to spring on us
Pragmatically, since the original toy and show model were so alike, they ought to just make it an upscaled version of the original with more articulation.ZeroWolf wrote:I wonder if Cyb Metroplex will keep his transformation between two different (sorta) robot modes

Right, so, a Titan version could give us extra excessive articulation that we don't need but would still make for a nice surprise.Overcracker wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Pragmatically, since the original toy and show model were so alike, they ought to just make it an upscaled version of the original with more articulation.ZeroWolf wrote:I wonder if Cyb Metroplex will keep his transformation between two different (sorta) robot modes
The original has pretty much all the articulation you need except for wrist swivels and ankle tilts which weren’t a thing at that point.

There's a bit of discord around the Juniors at the moment. One of the remaining leakers says that he has no evidence of Nightbeat and Hosehead, suggesting they might not be mainline like previously expected. Minerva is definitely happening though, as some form of store exclusive.D-Maximal_Primal wrote:The number of rumors is head spinning, but at the rate they are going, I should be able to pass on a lot of the line.
I have high hopes though if the headmaster jr, targetmaster, and prime figure rumors come true

He did also clarify though that his source no longer works on the Transformers team I thought? (Assuming you're referring to Apollux)
Minerva is my #1 want out of the whole line so I'm at least satisfied with her, but I would love to see a new Nightbeat as wellD-Maximal_Primal wrote:Autobot N wrote:There's a bit of discord around the Juniors at the moment. I'll be happy if she at least happens. I am OK with Nightbeat with T30, but I want Siren and Hosehead

It doesn't help that all of them (all two of them?) have been treated as just G1 versions of those characters, who wouldn't have Cyber Keys anyway.Overcracker wrote:If you want surprises, A Cyber Key gimmick would be a surprise.
None of the Cybertron throwbacks in the WFC Trilogy have a cyber key.

Meh, it's not the same if the key doesn't actually behave like a key and actually fit into a slot that its key part can be inserted into. Otherwise, it's just a big flap piece hanging off the side of a figure for no functional purpose.Nuclearxpotato wrote:Sabrblade wrote:It doesn't help that all of them (all two of them?) have been treated as just G1 versions of those characters, who wouldn't have Cyber Keys anyway.Overcracker wrote:If you want surprises, A Cyber Key gimmick would be a surprise.

But what if there was a Cyberkey Blast Effect? You have the top disc part that can plug onto a character to make them appear as if they're using it. Maybe add an extra power crackle that can plug between the key and the figure and an attachable bottom part for displaying it off of figures.
I think that'd be a fun homage, especially if they did an accessory pack that included different variants.

Of all the Unicron Trilogy gimmicks, Cyber Keys were the best gimmick in how they were both functional yet nonintrusive.
You wanna pay $150 for a measly Cyberverse Ultimate mold?blackeyedprime wrote:Will be funny if metroplex is the cyberverse titan slightly remolded plus it would actually make sense and be do able from the way it transforms.
