It is similar enough to get a repaint I will agree with thar, however, there's 2 things that would probably stop them from doing that. Not sure Armada Thurst warrants an upgrade to voyager class, and seeing as How the Armada re-makes in Legacy have been at least trying to keep their original gimmick functional in some way, I don't see them just repainting Jiahxus gray and green and calling it a day. His spinning wing gimmick is a fairly prominent part of Thrust, like Hot Shot's axel-zooka, and Starscream's shoulder cannons. They'd also need to completely retool the chest for thrust.
Seems like a lot of work just for Thrust.

I don't find any of that argument especially compelling, and the counter-argument is: it's cheap. We're not going to get spinning wings, wouldn't it be better to get something than nothing?
The coloring of Crosscut's head reminds me of Binaltech Asterisk Broadblast.Nemesis Primal wrote:If Metalhawk isn't a new mold, then the only new Voyager molds this year are gonna be Tarn, Leo Prime, and maybe the Junkion, so I get the feeling Metalhawk may have to be all-new. Otherwise, that's a very light year for Voyagers.
In other news, Core Thundercracker and Deluxe Crosscut both leaked. Thundercracker looks exactly as expected and does have null-rays instead of Skywarp's tuning fork, and Crosscut looks...more red than I expected.I got the pics from the TFW posts, which got Crosscut from Daimchoc and Thundercracker from a Chefatron review, and there are more pictures over there if the news team wants/needs them.

There's that Tenseg Base stand that Takara released with the Optimus redeco of Kingdom Ultra Magnus's cab robot.chuckdawg1999 wrote:Ya know, can Hasbro just release a stand that's compatible with Transformers already? Those stands they released for 6" figures are ok, but something we could just peg in would be great too.

Since Skywarp came with a fork, it's too bad Thundercracker won't come with a spoon.

The wheels are red because they are on the same plastic tree as the other red pieces. All those pieces will either be red or black.

Crosscut has existed since 2002, and previously got a second toy in Generations back in 2014.DeathReviews wrote:Wow, they... REALLY like that Skids mold, don't they?

Same reason they really like that seeker mold, that Datsun mold, that Inferno/grapple mold, that Optimus mold, that.....

Blame their pedigree, but Skids, with Trailbreaker, takes the cake for Diaclone variants.
And it all started with Skywarp.-Kanrabat- wrote:Jelze Bunnycat wrote:-Kanrabat- wrote:DeathReviews wrote:Wow, they... REALLY like that Skids mold, don't they?

I can't believe there's still people complaining about repaints nowadays. The complaints should have peaked and ended in 1984 at most.
