So time to brag ... I just did my daily cheer, combined with yesterday's points left over I was able to open the space bridge three times.
RANK 4 TRYPTICON ROBOT!
I also opened the special event space bridge.
RANK 4 GRIMLOCK ROBOT!

Seriously ... you hit once, call for help and let someone else use their cubes.

Do tell.

Well that goes without saying. Though it won't work on me. This event isn't something I'd pay for. Not with this style of game anyway. Without any real PvP with strategy involved and something to gain, winning this event is not very critical. Don't get me wrong. I like the idea of it and I appreciate the devs for implementing it.
I only bother with it at all because its a good way to get a lot of cards fast. Good for leveling, good for collecting. Which is why my inability to draw a single class 4 card over the last 3 days has really soured this event for me.
Yeah, I got a few good 3s that I can now work on leveling and scanning. But I can get most if not all of them in the regular game. Getting a few 4s was really the goal for me this event. With it coming to a close and getting increasingly harder to stay in it, it doesn't look like that'll happen. Pisses me of slightly.
Hopefully they do another event sometime soon. Rage of the Dinobots anyone? I'd do a few things differently in the first couple rounds to have more energon cubes saved up for the last round when they start to run dry.

Their first attempt failed miserably. But they brought it back, quickly sorted the bugs out and we all got into it. Lulled us into a false sense of security and look at what has happened in the last 24 hours. We had no idea Sharpshot was coming, none of us were prepared.
And you know what? I like it!
I can't wait to see what's in the pipeline for the next two days.
I still have my complaints about the game, but the tournament has been fun and we've helped them sort out a lot of bugs. To me, it's been a success.

I wouldn't mind a trade feature, although during non-event times it would make the game pretty pointless since your collections would be complete.

I thought about this same thing. At first I thought it would be great to have that option. But after this event and pondering it somemore I agree with diseptikon on this. Having the trade option would be a gamebreaker for everybody.
At the end of the day, collecting all of the cards IS the game. The campaign mode, player battles, ally points; they are all a means to an end. Which is to get more cards. Once you trade with your friends to fill your dex, there's little else to accomplish in the game. Sure you can play to level your cards but without a dex to complete, that'll get old fast.
From a dev standpoint, there would be no money to be made from the game. Once you get all of the cards from your allies, there absolutely zero reason to pay for anything in the game. I can understand why the option isn't included and I'm fine with it.
On a side note, this event has finally redeemed itself to me. With the event winding down and hope looking lost, I FINALLY pulled a class 4 card. I cashed in 6 gold medals and pulled an Elite Starscream bot mode. It may end up being the only one I pull after the 6 day restart is over but I'm now satisfied. I can end the event in peace now.
**On another side note. It appears the event is ending with a thud instead of a bang. It looks as though most people are out of battle cubes. My rank has not moved much at all in the last couple hours of my inactivity. I wonder if the devs have something in store for the last 24 hours to get people involved again.
diseptikon wrote:I saved a few cubes for a last minute push, however the most frustrating thing is happening when I try to get a level 5 battle going. I kept gettin grouped with randoms who are level 6, 11, 7 etc. they do no damage and the boss escapes. Seems weird there is no level requirements and the rewards are given no matter the contribution.

Also, I'm fine with reward system as it is. You get a couple free cards for particpating, thats not a big deal. But if the main bosses are going to be that strong, they need to make more players available to defeat them or raise the rewards or something. The event basically ended two days early because the Sharpshots wiped everybody out. I'm not even engaging my own Sharpshots anymore. If I can't beat it on my own and break even on the cubes spent, I pass.
