I've not had any trouble with the bosses either, I'm just getting discouraged early. I really want a snarl as he was my favorite dinobot when I was a kid. Just nostalgia kicking me in the butt.

Something I noticed, I had 100 mobacoins by doing their "try it and get free coins". I noticed the event 3x/5x bridge had a sale of 100 coins for a card. I tried it and got another dirge, then quickly noticed the price went back up to 300 afterword. They really meant "1 time". Not sure if you could use it 10 times in one shot if you had 1000 coins. Can anyone who has spent more than 100 coins verify that?

Yes my cards are renamed to episode. Yes I had more than 100 coins and they meant 1 time use only.

I'm definitely feeling the early discouragement as well. My last two full energon bars have yeilded only two boss encounters a piece. Plenty of missile tapping though, but not very many bosses.

I've cashed in a couple of hundred silver medals and yielded about four rank 3 cards.

Three of which I already had.

I was also late to the party, so regardless of how much I play, I can't see myself getting past the top 3000.

I am actually seeing plenty of rank 3s. None of them that I need to complete my deck, but still plenty for level fodder. I just cashed in 30 silver medals and picked up a Optimus Prime, Soundwave, and Cyclonus. There were several last night too. I can remember a Shockwave, Wheeljack, Thundercracker, and another Soundwave just off the top of my head. I'm seeing the 3s. I'm not seeing any 4s.

I am hoping that my rank will jump in the second round as my better leveled cards will help seperate me from the newer players or the players with weaker cards. Otherwise, cracking 3000 may prove difficult.

About 1.5 hours ago, I couldn't login, now its really slow and the space bridge animation won't work. I have to close out the game and wait to log back in to see my cards.

Must be a lot of people getting on after school and work.

Besides the cards I mentioned yesterday, I've not seen any more rare 3 cards I need, just fodder. Still no rare 4 cards and no other episode cards.

My game did an update and relaunched. Now I'm battling level 6 and up sludges for much higher pts. Haven't seen any other enemies though.

I have encountered a level 6 but nothing higher yet. The level 6 gave my deck a good run with one cube of power. I'm not sure if I'd be able to take a 7 without a second cube.

Yet to see an update. Then again, I know there were others (via Mobage's Facebook page) that had the "Episode" hours before I did.

Oh and they're having a one hour special tomorrow, most likely when i'm asleep.

Good ol Mobage, develop games for an OS used across the world ... forget that non-US residents play.

So I bit the bullet and bought some credits. I know, I should know better.

I use the Episode Space Bridge ... and get a rank 3 Ramjet.

So i'm already regretting buying credits, I figure, "screw getting Episode cards, let's just go normal space bridge"

Drop some credits on the Premium Space Bridge, one card ... one rank 4 Megatron robot mode.

Have I mentioned that I had a max level rank 4 Megatron alt mode?

I've been wanting this card sooooooooo bad. Pre-update he was my top card, then last events cards became more powerful.

I trans-scanned that guy as quick as I could.

Up to that point too i'd been using my card fodder to upgrade trans-scanned rank 3 Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz and Wheeljack cards "just on the off chance I get a good card that needs to be upgraded". I'd gotten those 4 guys up to level 25.

Suffice to say, my trans-scanned rank 4 Megatron is now at level 38, is once again my top card, oh ... and all those fools who think they can fight me with their level 4 event cards? Yeah ... they're quickly learning that I'm not the push-over I was yesterday.

I have a couple of rank 4 cards that are Max level that I have begging to see their other modes come through any one of the bridges to no avail so far. Glad somebody is getting something worthy of touting. Overall, this event has been pretty uneventful. Oh, oops. They're episodes now. I don't bother counting how many medals I've cashed in, a couple hundred so far I guess, and I haven't received a single card that I didn't already have.

nah, I'd be here forever trying to upgrade it.

As it is i'm now splitting my upgrades between rank 4 megs and rank 3 episode Dirge which I also picked up.

I'm not sure why, as I have just crossed the 12,000 point mark, but for whatever reason there was a 3X Dirge alt mode sitting in my rewards box. This means I now have the 3X Dirge bot, alt, and weapon cards. I hoping once they are leveled, scanned, and leveled again, I will be able to make some serious headway when the second boss rolls out. I have 2 3X Dirge bot modes already max leveled. Hopefully it won't take too long to get the alt mode maxed.

When I went to bed last night, I was ranked in the 4500s. When I woke up this morning, I was in the 6000s. I'm currently back into the 4200s. Good progress today so far, I think.

When I went to bed I was at 1552.

When I got up 7 hours later I was back to 2500ish. Here's hoping I can get another solid day in.

After the hour of "extra rewards", I was able to crack the top 1500. The Snarls really pushed the limits of my deck. Thanks to rewards and space bridge pulls, I now have enough cards to have two transcanned 3X Dirges with weapons.

The more I play though, the less hopeful I get. Without any transcanned 4s, my deck just seems too underpowered to make a dent in this event. Struggling to defeat Snarls leaves me with no hope of even making a dent in any of the Slags when they start appearing.

Sorry about that, Burn.

No worries, though. I feel our position change is only temporarily in my favor. You still have the edge in space bridge draws. With your scanned Megatron, your deck has some power that mine can't match.

I'm hoping to get my second 3X Dirge scanned and online soon to help even the odds. But they seem to be dropping out of the bridge at a decent clip. Everybody will have at least one soon enough. I really need an Elite Starscream alt mode to keep my momentum going.

Looking at the episode rewards, I'll be quite happy if I can manage to finish in the top 500. Pulling just one scannable rank 4 card out of this event would completely "transform" my deck. But its a long way off right now and if the last event is any indication, I'll most likely run out of battle cubes before I can crack the top 600.

I'd also like to go on record and give some kudos to the devs of the game. I've been pretty critical of the devs as of late and I stand by all of the things that I said. But in the case of the episode, they've done a solid job. Its been essentially glitch free. The bonus reward time was something different from the last event that went off without a hitch. The "every card is "new" out of the space bridge" glitch has finally gone away. Generally speaking, the episode has breathed new life and interest into this game. Even if for only 6 days, I am really enjoying this game again.

So far, I've maxed 2 complete dirges, a 3 alt dirge, another rare 3 starscream, another rare 3 optimus, and I've still got a ton of medals. I've used about 2300 medals so far and not pulled a single rare 4, but that is where I got 3 of my dirges. I purchased one and got the other as a reward.

I didn't get to play the hour special because when it relaunched, the servers seemed so busy I could never get reconnected. I've spent the whole day just using cubes to help others.

My rank so far is 192 at 936988 pts. I can kill lvl 3 snarls with 1 cube, sometimes lvl 4. Lvl 5 and 6 always require at least 2, sometimes 3.

I've just been using 1 cube on absolutely everything I find so I get the cube back for first hit, then ask for help. If I help someone, I try to use only 1 cube when the boss has little health left so I get the cube back for last hit. Using this method, I've been stockpiling cubes as I level up the pts.

I'm fearing how tough slug is going to be.

If the last event is anything to go by, you'll be using up three cubes and still requiring help from about two others.

Which is fine, because you need two others to get the gold medals.

Hmmm, the gold medals seem to be the joke of the episode to me. I've been monitoring them closely when I cash them in and I swear I have never pulled anything better than a rank 2 card from a gold medal.

I've gotten tons of 3's from the silver medals where only a 1 is guaranteed. But the golds, where a 2 is guaranteed, that is literally, not even exaggerating, all I get. its kind of tweaking my nerves a bit.

Monuo, how many scanned 4's do you have in your deck that you can take the lowers snarls with just one cube?

Well, did a fair bit of play today and managed to make it up to 1108. Back to work tomorrow but hopefully I've put myself into a position where i'll only drop back to the 2000's.

None unfortunately. Ive got 2 complete dirges fully maxed with lvl 3 matching weapons. A maxed alt dirge with thrusts weapon. 2 kickbacks and weapons, optimus rare, grimlock, starscream, and megs, all rare 3 with weapons. All my characters are maxed and transcanned with the 10% bonus. My optimus gun is maxed, all other matching weapons are lvl 6. And all my transcans were done after the february fix, only my kickbacks have slightly lower stats from the previosly broken transcan equation.

Sounds like your deck is similar to mine except you have a clear and decisive edge in the weapons department. I have no maxed weapons. My highest weapon is Episode Hound's at level 6. Nearly all of my others are levels 1 or 2.

My system is pretty much identical as far as earning points and saving cubes. However, I think the bubble is getting ready to burst. I'm seeing a lot more Level 6 Snarls timing out because people either don't want to be the middle guy who gets no cubes or more and more people are just running out of cubes.

So, the things that drove me nuts about the last episode they have managed to keep in tact for this episode. They give no battle cubes as rewards for Slug. The third boss is way too powerful and they release him way too soon into the episode. I'm getting bombarded with help requests for Slug, of which, I can't make a dent in any level of him. Bosses are just timing out everywhere. I don't even want to bother scanning because I know that I'll just be throwing cubes away since the vast majority of my bosses will time out. The episode is essentially over with 3 days to go.

Yep, the burn out is happening, nothing left for anyone unless they buy cubes to keep beating him. I was lucky enough for most of my slugs to be beaten. I sacrificed and was one of the middle men on almost all other battles. Ive got 20 cubes left and sitting at rank 140. Bet ill be way lower when i wake up.
