Do you know if it was a googleplay code or a mobage code? I would imagine its a mobage code and you have to get into your mobage account to enter it. When the game boots, you'll see the mobage icon in the top right, tap it and you'll go to your account. Look around there for a place to enter a code.

Already tried that - didn't see anything....

The mobage facebook page and the TF:L-wikia forums are just littered with people complaining that mobage "stole" their money. Now while I wouldn't piss on mobage if they were on fire, I can't help be amused by people who willingly threw their money away on Mobage's terrible space bridge and then get upset that they didn't get what they wanted from it.
I'd really like to know what people's expectations are when they put money into a RANDOM space bridge. I guess some people just have to learn the hard way. Sadly, alot of these people will probably spend money on the next event too.

I tried it and it gave me an 8 digit card formatted as 4 digits, then a hyphen, then 4 digits. I think this is just a scam to gather marketing info. Oh well...

One thing I noticed is several iOS devices were restarting every 5 minutes or so. If the game restarts just as the bridge starts to happen, it takes your coins and moves you to the next teir without giving you cards. This happened twice to my friend this event. They gave him his cards back but they couldn't reset the bridge so he could try the 100 coin or 300 coin bridge again. Instead they told him he would have to use the 900 coin bridge or wait til the next event.
This actually happened to me on robots in the skies, I tried the 100 coin and lost out because of a restart. Mobage game me my coins back but when I complained about not getting the opportunity to use the 100 coin bridge, they gave me an extra 100 coins and said they couldn't reset it.

Yeah, I've seen that this has been a recurring problem. But from what I have seen, Mobage has made good on returning lost coins. To me, the glitch did everyone that it happened to a favor. It gave them all a chance to rethink a potentially bad decision.
It would seem that Mobage can't even take people's money right. I don't know why on Earth anybody would continue to feed them more.
In answer to your earlier question: I, too, am starting to believe that my luck sniping has significantly improved compared to last episode. Whatever the reason, I'm not sure. But I'm definitely having an easier time.
**edit**
Looks like Swoop is on the loose.

As far as the rank drop, I'm sure that is just due to the smaller player volumn. I'm sure the number of players in the States is probably closer to if not more than the amount of players in all of Europe, Asia, and Austrailia combined.
The busy time for the States is late afternoon-evening as people come home from work/school. For people on the other side of the world, their busy time is while we sleep. Less players/less rank drop.

The few lvl 6 sludge help requests came from people in the top 100. Unless they set the pts to spawn a boss really low (which I doubt), I still think there is more to what bosses you spawn than just your total pts. When they launched swoop last night, both me and my friend with shockwave were seeing him immediately. I had 600K pts, he had 200K. I was still in the top 700, he was in the top 2000. My team value is 12.5K, his is just under 12k.
Maybe they did set the pts low for spawning although I'm at 1.3mil pts and not spawning sludge lvl 6. Maybe he is a special random spawn as I've helped less than a dozen since last night.

My prediction is there is also a certain number of bosses of each lvl you must spawn AND have killed before you can move to the next teir of spawnable bosses.
Here's my experiment, next episode, if I choose not to compete for cards, I'm not going to spawn ANY of my own bosses. I'm just going to snipe other bosses until my pts reach around 100K or maybe until I've successfully helped my first lvl 6 boss. I believe its fair to say that is a good method to start spawning my own bosses. I'm willing to bet, I spawn the first lvl of bosses several times until I've killed about 20 or so, based on previous episodes of infiniplay and the progression of bosses on the first day. After I've killed an undetermined amount, I bet I start progressing through the bosses until I reach the boss I can't 1 cube, then I bet I won't be able to see anything past that unless I waste cubes to get past them.

While I don't have any specifics numbers-wise. I can already confirm that this chain of events happens exactly this way. Last episode, even after throwing cubes on lvl 6 bosses for the last 2 days, I never once spawned anything better than a lvl 3 Starscream on my own. While the previous episodes aren't as fresh as countdown to extinction, generally speaking, they've all been the same. I never spawned anything higher than the bosses I stopped battling because I couldn't one cube them.
I hope the episode is going well for those competing. I haven't played since Friday evening. I'm finding that due to the repetitive nature of the game and the time investment needed to play it, I just don't have the steam to play it after an episode that I tried to be competitive in. Something just snapped on Friday night after work and I just didn't even want to look at the game anymore.

All previous event including insecticons (where i didnt even break 2 mil pts) i could spawn anything that as released.
I think unleash the beast was the start of the boss teir system im making predictions about.

I've got a question. Well, maybe several, but one for starters. Does anyone know the rate at which you find the ?? bosses? Every so often when I find a raid boss, it ends up being a level-less, 500 point value boss of maybe 2.5 million hit points and virtually no attack strength. When you beat it, you get 500 points and four battle recharges. CtE was the first event I tried to be competative in after having caught the competition fever during the Beast Hunters one. So far I'm in the top 8000 for DotD2, and in my attempts to keep battling without paying human money (nu uh....) I keep praying for these ?? bosses and end up getting them probably few hours. Is there a pattern or anything that I'm not noticing so that I can exploit it more?

Unless someone has found a method they can prove via youtube video or something, ?? bosses are completely random. I've had them at all stages of an episode ever since they started doing them. There were times when I would be drawing lvl 6 elita one bosses and then I would get a random ?? arcee from no where.
Just to throw a cold shower on your competitive fever, don't worry about top 100 unless you have absolutely no life so you can defend your position and cash to buy tons of cubes and/or bonus attack cards. I know that sounds harsh, but that is how the game is designed. Find that sweet spot where you can snipe and keep your place through the entire episode, right now my deck power is 12.5K and I stick between 550 and 800 easy just by sniping and using cubes wisely on lvl 6 bosses that get tossed my way from people in the top 100.
Your deck will get better just a little every episode because they keep making the cards stronger, when you can hang in the 2nd teir no problem, that's when you should decide if you want to spend money for that top 100 spot.
Be mindful of the episode bonuses as well, if you have an awesome autobot team but only a couple awesome decepticons, wait for an episode that gives autobot bonuses and go for it. The cards are just characters with numbers, look at omega supreme. Everyone was like "OMG, SO AWESOME!" then immediately next episode megatron is better, granted he is the decepticon leader.
Point being, don't learn the hard way and spend just cuz your excited. Make that money count for every penny. Build you team, save tons of cubes, wait for a week when you know you have spare time to defend your position, then consider spending for that glory spot.
Hey you never know, with all the people complaining and getting refunds from the itunes stores over the space bridge monstrosity this time, apple may threaten to remove it until its fixed, this may make mobage consider cheaper prices or listening to their players.

Thanks for the tips though. I don't play card games or these kinds of deck based battle games, so I mainly rely on luck and chance to have anything go my way. And, I like the card art. Pretty, pretty pictures.

Dagon wrote:Oh, no way am I spending real life dollars on this game. I've been scavenging bosses that (most certainly) better equipped players are asking for help on, and am below 8000 in the rankings with like a 6600 deck power. I'm not even worried about top 100 or anything, and once I realised that in order to get more than one decent prize you need to finish in the top like, 500, I figured I'd just get what I could and try to get the point rewards I wanted. So I got the robot Ratbat and the Ratbat and Ramject guns, and whatever else may happen, I'm fine. I think the game is a fine, fun time waster every three hours during an event when my cubes are full, but otherwise it doesn't interest me too much.

Good for you, you are WAY ahead on this than most. Can you believe there are some people who have spent $150 on this episode alone just to get the Rare 5 Shockwave, and still didn't get him.
I'm reading several blogs and there are a huge amount of players that spent money on the bridges saying it was a bait and switch or a scam or some other BS because they changed how they did them this event from the previous ones. Now those players are contacting apple and google play because they feel cheated.
There were 2 bridges guaranteed and the other 4 teirs were only possible for episode rewards. A few people got screwed because the bridge broke and they didn't get any cards or didn't get the amount of cards the bridge promised. These people deserve their money back.
However, there are a ton of people that have buyers remorse because they chanced it or didn't read and they are successfully getting their money back. This is the instance where I side with Mobage. You don't play games of chance and expect to get your money back. It was a gamble, lose your money gracefully people.
On top of that, mobage decided to hand out a free complete ratbat set, 20 cubes, and 100 gold medals to some of these people, not sure who gets them but it seems if you spent any money on the 3000 coin bridge, you get this handout.

As another question, since I haven't really been keeping track, how often does a new event start? They last a week and then there's what, five, six days before the next one begins? I think that's about right....

Day of the Dinobots (Part 1) (4-11 April 2013)
Robots in the Sky (18-24 April 2013)
Fatal Furies (April 29th - May 6th, 2013)
Unleash the Beasts (9-16 May, 2013)
Cold Delivery (17-23 May, 2013)
Countdown to Extinction (24-31 May, 2013)
Day of the Dinobots (Part 2) (5-12 June 2013)
That was taken from here http://transformers-legends.wikia.com/wiki/Events
You can see our first "test" event was months before the second. Most of the events had a couple days between but Cold Delivery started the very next day after Unleash the Beast. This event will end tomorrow and the next may start on Friday, never know until they officially announce it. Don't bother with the websites people keep "uncovering" and claiming its official. It's not official until mobage posts on their site/blog/facebook.
