I dunno, the MP Grimlock toy seemed like it had a lot of care that went into it. The designer (can't recall which it was, I'll have to look that up laterTrikeboy wrote:Here's the thing, MP-05 is a reminder that TakaraTomy didn't take the Masterpiece line seriously until MP-10 came out.

The fact that I still don't have a MP-05 is not really a price issue. It's mainly that for the ammount it cost, there is way too much expensive TFs that I want instead.
Like his original G1 version?

Trikeboy wrote:I already said MP-01 and MP08 are decent, did I not? I believe I said the mold for Grimlock was great, the problem is the size when standing next to MP-01 and MP-05.
Edit, also, if TakaraTomy had released the pic below, would you honestly pick a gold MP-05 over a new v2 Megatron? I'm not going to turn this into a 3rd party discussion. This is all I'll say on that figure. If this was from TT, people would be jumping through the roof in excitement.

Its kind of like Basic Instinct, but not in a good way...
Goddammit, now I can't unsee it.
