I wonder how easy that is? Would they just increase the size of the 3d model (with changed parts) and just send that to the thingy that turns it into molds for the factory?

But until we see them side by side, we won't know if they're making them scale

They could do whatever was done for Energon Megatron/Galvatron and Super Link Galvatron/Galvatron G.

No, I really don't. I was left disappointed with the Generations incarnations, which made me appreciate the originals even more. Considering I have a nearly complete BW, BWII and BW Neo collection, adding Masterpieces into the equation doesn't really achieve anything.

Very little if my own BW collection has withstood the test of time, or even survived, so this stuff is the bees knees to me.

Jesus Christ. This is good news for beast wars in general, but WHERE is fan favorite Dinobot? Doesnt even need to be a masterpiece. Im baffled as to why its taken this long.

Another likely reason could be that they're saving the ones everyone wants for later so those potential buyers can stay invested and buy MPs they may not have even glanced at before.
Like, if they'd done primal, megs and dinobot right off the bat that would be enough for some people so they wouldn't bother with bw mps after that. But since it isn't that way, they now look at Cheetor whereas they might not have before.

Well if this is a finite line of all the original Beast Wars 10, then I can see picking them up, as in a way BW is a continuation of G1, and is set in that universe albeit a separate timeline. Of they do manage to do all 10, I hope toyhax does some backing dioramas of the Maximal headquarters and the predacon base as well. That would go nicely on my shelf for the display. I plan to get their G1 stuff once they restock for both my G1 Autobots and Decepticons. If the sheer size of G1 masterpieces bother you, I suggest just getting the intial 3 part more then meets the eye episode characters. Tho, the insecticons, and devastater episodes are also good. Then again just the movie bots would also be a good way to collect and keep the cost down. The original line up to me would include the dinobots and if they do trailbreaker. They should release him with spark plug. As I fondly remember that he was with Trailbreaker a lot in the first season.

"This long"? The MP Beast Wars releases haven't even started yet. That we're just now seeing the prototype for the second one is typical for the schedule of MP releases. These kinds of quality figures take time to make. Can't rush quality.

Besides, they need all the Masterpiece black magic they can get in order to make Dinobot's transformation work:

I can see them not doing Scorponok and Terrorsaur tbh since they're by far the least loved and seen characters of Beast Wars... And tbh for good reason. Terrorsaur wasn't a great screamer and scorponok was kinda boring. I just find it hard to see them doing them since the other 8 overshadow them so much.

Also... -just- the original MTMTE three-parter? That's, like... 27 characters, not even counting Reflector. And we still haven't got some very prominent players yet - jazz, hound, sunstreaker etc. Talking about MP at least.
