I just really hope, if this line continues (I have full faith it will) that Tigatron is NOT a slight remold of this.
What about an up-scaled remold? They are nearly identical in bot mode...
I wonder how easy that is? Would they just increase the size of the 3d model (with changed parts) and just send that to the thingy that turns it into molds for the factory?
But until we see them side by side, we won't know if they're making them scale![]()

True, but it's still cheating. Beneficial cheating, but cheating nonetheless.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:This Cheetor is a cheater.Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Notice that the cheetah head in robot mode is a different one from the beast mode's cheetah head.

Nah, it looks way better this way, and reconciles the two different designs (beast/bot, as they are noticeably different in the show)

Just like MP-1's and MP-10's two truck grills.

Yes, you do.
I'm not fully happy with this, but I'm 99% sure that's due to lack of final colors.
No, I really don't. I was left disappointed with the Generations incarnations, which made me appreciate the originals even more. Considering I have a nearly complete BW, BWII and BW Neo collection, adding Masterpieces into the equation doesn't really achieve anything.

Fair enough. Sounds nutty to me, but I'm well aware of how nutty many others consider my own opinions.
Very little if my own BW collection has withstood the test of time, or even survived, so this stuff is the bees knees to me.

They're behind glass display cases set on the different levels we see in the above image, so no side-by-sides.Kurona wrote:Seeing the twi bw mps next to each other really makes me excited.
Are there any pics of them right next to each other, so as to see how they scale?

Cheetor was shorter than Primal, but not by much:Hellscream9999 wrote:Sabrblade wrote:They're behind glass display cases set on the different levels we see in the above image, so no side-by-sides.Kurona wrote:Seeing the twi bw mps next to each other really makes me excited.

Well, it may be the angle, but Cheetor's looking pretty big, and he's further away than primal in the pic![]()
"This long"? The MP Beast Wars releases haven't even started yet. That we're just now seeing the prototype for the second one is typical for the schedule of MP releases. These kinds of quality figures take time to make. Can't rush quality.Whitemest wrote:Jesus Christ. This is good news for beast wars in general, but WHERE is fan favorite Dinobot? skywarp-2 wrote:Well if this is a finite line of all the original Beast Wars 10, then I can see picking them up, as in a way BW is a continuation of G1, and is set in that universe albeit a separate timeline. Of they do manage to do all 10, I hope toyhax does some backing dioramas of the Maximal headquarters and the predacon base as well. That would go nicely on my shelf for the display. I plan to get their G1 stuff once they restock for both my G1 Autobots and Decepticons. If the sheer size of G1 masterpieces bother you, I suggest just getting the intial 3 part more then meets the eye episode characters. Tho, the insecticons, and devastater episodes are also good. Then again just the movie bots would also be a good way to collect and keep the cost down. The original line up to me would include the dinobots and if they do trailbreaker. They should release him with spark plug. As I fondly remember that he was with Trailbreaker a lot in the first season.
