Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.

Oh, I know it's based on a real design, but the crappy gold paint on the transparent red plastic make it look a lot like one of the KO's from the prime days.

From Hasbro Toy Group. Takara pays homage to the Beast series with MP-38 Masterpiece Burning Convoy! A redeco of the Masterpiece MP-32 Optimus Primal, this figure pays homage to the Burning Convoy redeco of the original limited-edition Optimus Primal released as a promotion for the Beast Wars Special movie! Transforms from robot to gorillla and includes 2 cyber blades, and 4 alternate face plates for Beast and Robot Mode. Concealed cannons can be revealed when in bot mode in his arms and shoulders. Asking why they would make this version is like asking why any toys of Galvatron or Rodimus Prime get made. They're the movie-original powered-up forms of Megatron and Hot Rod just as this is the movie-original powered-up form of Optimus Primal.

Same reason anyone would want figures of Super Saiyans: Because Burning Convoy (in the short time he appeared) was epic.Ironhidensh wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Because it's the super powerful form he took in climax of the Japanese theatrical movie.Ironhidensh wrote:Again.....

That does not explain why anybody would want a, at least, $120 transparent plastic nightmare.
