In addition to a year filled with new MP seekers and two releases of the MP Skids mold, Takara will also have MP-55 Nightbird, at least for preorder, in 2021. It's the next release in their Masterpiece line and will be a retool of the Arcee mold. We only have a small image to go one which the Loopaza Megastore posted on their Facebook page. You can also see all the accessories she comes with. We will get more info on this toy shortly. Let us know what you think!

Hey Takara, while you're delving this deep into obscure characters for the Masterpiece line, might I suggest THE REST OF THE STARTING CAST FROM BEAST WARS?

Then again, I can't complain. They released Optimus Primal 3 times and I lapped that up. May Nightbird fans rejoice!

Um, is it just me or did they actually bother molding new round boobs for her despite not being part of her normal design? Eh, maybe it's just weird lighting.

Lots of accessories, though, including her Legends/Thrilling 30 Arcee swords.

Well I can’t say anyone was expecting this, even though the recent MP announcements have erred towards the random-grab bag side. I would have easily expected a Lifeline/Paradron Medic way before this, if at all.

I wonder if she’ll be advertised as just another Con, or if they’re going to stick to her backstory more so. Though in my opinion, if we were ever going to need another Nightbird , it would have been in the RED line, so there would be reason for why she doesn’t transform.

likely a pass for me, still waiting to see rattrap and raidens going to have some strong third party offering. I need to pick up Skids and his redeco anyway on top of the usual MP backlog.

What with the QC issues with the original mold and the high prices TT charge for sub-par MP figures, I'll wait for the KO, or just not bother. I've already got the original CHUG version anyway.
