You'll be waiting awhile - probably over a year....

TF will be in HD only because Paramount signed an deal to do their movies in HDDVD only for 18 months.

I got the Target Transforming Case. I would have liked the best buy lithograph but I hate Best Buy's stocking code. EVERYTHING has a minimum. Laptops go on sell, they have a total stock of 2... I had to drive out of state just to get one.

Best buy is worst buy <_<

He deserves everyone and fans give respect because he had genuine love for the material - MB doesn't. Michael Bay is good at live action and mixing effects, practical stunts, and action, but not much else. I give ILM most of the credit for making the Tfs kick ass. Story was weak. Too much human element in this movie not enough development/background on all the TFs, especially the decepticons. They just came out of nowhere. I'm not giving him that much credit, you Bay fans act like no one could've done it better. Not true. And just b/c TF was a success -doesn't give him free reign to be an egotistical DB, "I own the TF." attitude.

I'm not Bay's biggest fan but things like the story being weak and there being a lack of character development are probably more to do with the script than the direction.

this is true. Bay didn't write the movie, so I can't fault him for a crappy script. His directing was ok, sometimes the comic reliefs slowed down the action too much, but I liked the movie enough to buy it. This is all off topic - i will cease.

I got one from wal-mart and one from Target. The wal-mart one I opened so I could see the prequel but the Target one I plan to keep wrapped.
The target store I bought mine at had a very limited quantity(ONLY ONE) special edition battle dammage bumblebee two pack, and with purchase of DVD and toy I got a $5 gift card. But like I said they only had one toy pack in the whole store.

I bought an HD DVD player just to watch TF after already pre-ordering the 2DVD Set (which has still not arrived). TF in HD was clearer than on the movie screen. The extras are worth the money.
I loved the extra video with the security cam and the unknown NBE.

One useful aspect of DVD's is that you can freeze the screen.

Using the pause feature, I was able to determine, from the scene where Frenzy and Blackout look up Witwicky's address, that he lived in South Gate, California.

Some dumbass director screwed up, and shockingly  he forgot to mention that in his commentary.

umm you got that confused, Prime is on the hill and real truch is driving on the highway...thats why when the camera pans from the prime on the hill in robot form to the truck, and then back to the hill....he's just finishing his transformation.

now if what ur saying is the real truck also had the autobot symbol then fine, thats possible..never noticed but i'll look for it..but yeah...Prime was on the hill not the real truck

What I was saying is that when filming they put the wrong truck in the wrong place. The normal Pete was suppose to be driving and the Prime cab was supposed to be stationary. But they switched them as the emblems indicate. The one on the road had the Autobot one and the one on the hill had the Peterbuilt one.

That is awesome. Good work.

another piece of evidence is that the page with Witwicky's profile states that he has a 310 area code.

I do notice that the setting for the movie is different than in the novelization of the movie.

And, BTW, the "Devastator" "typo" is still in the film.

I got the Decepticon version because they were out of the Autobot version. The disc 2 menu has the Decepticon symbol and Megatron. Does the Autobot version have the Autobot symbol and Optimus? I wonder if it's two different discs or if there's some way to unlock each version.

i got the autobot version and yep, the menu has prime...there's no autobot symbol unless im reeeeally blind cuz i JUST watched this..lol.. but the menu shows prime with his hand out and open and all these little snippets of movie scenes come out from there and the camera keeps panning 360 and showing them off

oh and i just noticed you were talking about disc 2..lol oops...yeah i was talking about disc 1, havent watched the second one yet so oopsies..

Costco Exclusive

Postby Blitz Magnus » Sat Oct 20, 2007 2:12 pm

I got the 2-disc special edition at Costco for 35 dollars. It comes with a Bumblebee OR Optimus Prime keychain as well as a really awesome 72-page movie guide on all the Transformers. Includes detailed bios.

Check on Our world then scroll down or click down to main menu

The marker will be on the left side of the text then click to see it

I saw that too and then tried to figure out how to see it again. I thought I was seeing things!!!
There is no excuse for TF3 to not be done properly!!!

It's the prequel comic animated ala Golden Book Stories in the 80's. Cullen and Welker do their roles for the first couple mins in, then they aren't in it any more.

Nice...
But only one thing is bothering me. I am from Amsterdam, Holland. None of these thnings will ever be in my reach. We don't have a Sears or a WallMart here :(
I only hope that these special items also will be available in Holland too.
