I don't know if this is been posted, as most people talk about "easter eggs" in relation to the 2-Disc sets, BUT...

I just finished watching the normal 1 disc version, and at the end of the movie there was a new menu that popped up that had a trailer for Ironman, the original teaser trailer, and a short advertisement for GM called Rise of the Autobots.

At the end of the Rise of the Autobots ad, there was a website that flashed up saying "Go to Autobotsrollout.com for more content." I did so, and it was a sweepstakes to win a Camero tricked out like Bumblebee in the movie.

If this has already been mentioned, sorry... didn't feel like reading through the last 10 pages :-)

Sounds like Disc 2 is not so interesting.

looks like the majority picked the transforming case. (Me too). Why didn't the people who splurged for the 2 disc edition go for the transforming case? Might was well spend a few more bucks to get the limited case.

I'll be buying the PLAY.com 2 disc version. Simply because these stupid buggers won't release on Blu-Ray.

That really annoys as I'd be superbly happy to pay extra for Blu-Ray. Especially since PSN store has the trailer for download. It looks STUNNING! And I won't see it as such. At least until Blu-Ray wipes HD-DVD out.

Hmm. So I'm the one lonely person who bought their SE version from Circuit City?

The mobile content they offered was useless to me - since I'm one of the roughly three people in the US who doesn't own a cell phone - so I can't comment on that.

But the extra footage was neat. It was basically four more behind-the-scenes segments, in Flash video format (good quality, though):

1. Voices - Commentary about the logistics of the voice acting, as well snippets from their recording sessions. It was neat seeing the characters' voices coming out of, well, the normal-looking guys. My favorite out of all the segments.

2. Metal In Motion - Preliminary effects. Various early animation sequences and model tests.

3. Stunts - Info about the logistics behind the various action sequences.

4. Gearing Up - Guns. Lots and lots of guns.

Considering that a transforming case would just be one more knick-knack, the Walmart one wasn't the SE version, and I knew I couldn't get out to the stores in time to snag any of the limited goodies on release day, I think the CC extras were worth the choice in store for me. :) I love behind-the-scenes stuff.
