Can anyone confirm the other 3 deluxes in wave 4? I seem to remember Slug, Rippersnapper and Dreadwind. If that is the case, then I think I may have just missed Novastar and I just found all 3 of them on the pegs together at a local Walmart.

Hmm, they did also have some Blackwing and Jazz, so I'm not sure if that was a mish mash of waves 1 and 2, or 1 and 4. Looks like I'll have to keep and eye on that store.

So Optimal Optimus is also repacked in wave 4, correct? Seems like if Novastar is showing up now, that Optimal sure should since he was also in wave 3. He hasnt shown up anywhere in the US. I wouldnt feel so down about missing Throne Primal if he was available.

The waves for different classes only ever seem to match up with wave 1 of a new line. After the initial launch, wave 2 of each class only starts hitting shelves once wave 1 sells out. So there really isn't a correlation between a wave 4 Novastar deluxe showing up now and the lack of any sighting of Wave 3 Optimal Optimus Leader figure yet.

It just means the leader class lags behind.

One thing about the new distribution of figures across the waves, making the last leader wave repacks of previous waves makes a lot of sense after seeing how poor CW Leader Skywarp fared.

This is curious, because Skywarp was repacked in CW Leader Class Wave 6 with Starscream.

Here is a pic of that wave, it stayed around for almost one whole year (as you can see from the TR Wave 2 also being there)

And to answer a previous question, yes Optimal Optimus is repacked for wave 4.

I still think the "Wave" system of distribution is fundamentally flawed. A better way, IMO, would be to release cases with much more variety. Do the whole year at once, or at least a good chunk of it. See which characters sell through faster and which warm the pegs. Then, do a revision half way through the year, adding in a few more new characters, leaving out the less popular figures that aren't moving fast enough, and reissuing some of the more popular ones that sell through fast.

I've been checking the throne listing all day since 7:30. As of 4:40 EST, it hasn't come in stock once. So, I guess the whole "Check back tomorrow" is a lie? :-?

I checked out as a guest, and I can go into track order on hts and see that I have an order but the total $ is representative of the tax and shipping. The listing of any item or its total is absent. HAS ANYONE been able to contact or hear back from hts regarding this clusterf**k???

D'oh! I had forgotten that Skywarp for new in wave 5 and not 6, mixing him up with Sky Lynx. The repack in consecutive waves really spelled doom for him, as he warmed the shelves for ages. That doesn't bode well for the regular release of Optimus Primal...

Yes, this, or something fairly close to it. And hopefully they are smart enough to adjust the numbers for figures that would be considered troop builders.

I signed in with my HTS account before putting the Throne of the Primes in my basket and going through the checkout and ordering process. It was pretty smooth sailing for me, save for a few times when I had to refresh the page because it was either not loading anything or came up with an error. Again, when it came time to actually process my payment, even though it was a new card that wasn't saved in their system, it went through in seconds without any difficulties.

I ordered as a registered user (though I made the account earlier in the day specifically for ordering Primal), and my order went off without a hitch. Maybe guests had a harder time?

I've only ever signed up for emails, I haven't made an account with them at all. All my info was pre-set in though, so all I had to do was go through checkout.

I ordered through my account, ordering went off without a hitch, I never had a single problem or frozen screen. Still waiting for my confirmation email though.

Interesting. I wonder if mine will arrive before I get a confirmation email. Mine (Skater Prime) last year also seemed to take forever to ship, so maybe HTS just doesn't like me that much.
