Well for me Warpath is a grey area. Im a toon accuracy guy who puts scale first. So in my mind Warpath got a proper figure a long time ago with his deluxe mold. He was portrayed as being the same size as an autobot car in the cartoon consistently. While I would welcome a tank not shaped like an "H" if it wasnt deluxe scale Id be pissed. Then the KO guys would have to do him justice.

Also, Powerglide went back and forth in the cartoon from being smaller to being regular sized in different episodes. But theres a high quality upsized KO of powerglide that is on par with the quality of the original. So I have the best of both scales on display.

I dunno. I think Warpath is at least inconsistent in size, like with Powerglide. He looks pretty diminutive compared to Hound and Prowl in this shot, even if there is some bad layering going on. Legends sized Warpath is preferable to me.

I found deluxe class Warpath to fit perfectly in scale with the MP autobots, thats how I am using him.

I'd say very slim. That would be the kind of thing that would be perfect to release as part of the Transformers Fan Club, but that seems to have been killed off before it even began. I was hoping they would use the club to release obscure things like that, but alas.

So PotP Grimlock is pretty awesome. The instructions gave me a little ispiration for combining the hands and feet.

Ok, so I am excited by the prospect of a Repugnus. Let me finish my Monsterbots!

And a thought on that: what if Rippersnapper is being released in wave 2 so that he comes out before his retool, Repugnus? It could help explain why there are 5 guys/gals in wave 2 and only 3 in wave 3, and why Rippersnapper is separate from his fellow terrorcons. Just a thought, I don't really care which way they go with him as a headmaster or a combiner since I have his little titan master self for use as a head version, though not a battlebeast.

As for new stuff, I am really really liking Starscream, especially in combined mode:



He rocks it so much! And it's also cool to see more similarities to his movie self in this form: the rear wings ending up on his shoulders for the full triangle look, the thicker yet skinny thighs, the cockpit nose between 2 pieces that have a weird space between them and doesn't quite form a normal robot crotch, wings not sticking off his back, etc. It's quite a nice design, and actually relates fairly well to his movie 1 voyager.

I have determined that Slug will be a leg for Volcanicus. He is so much more stable in leg mode than any of the other 3. Now I just gotta see which of the other 3 will be a leg, but it's almost certainly not going to be Swoop

Can you give him the chicken legs?

I don't like Swoop in arm mode. The shoulder doesn't look bad but the forearm is pretty thin compared to most others and he has that huge gap

wavemates. Swoop is a bad leg with his loose ankles, and both Jazz and Dreadwind lean pretty bad on their ankle connections

I'm guessing five Deluxes in the second wave of the year and three in the third wave is just going to be what Hasbro does with Generations going forward (along with four in the first wave and one in the fourth wave), because they did the same thing with last year's Deluxes.

It doesn't look too bad I'll admit, though I may skip Starscream and wait until Elita-1 comes out, because I'm happy with my Combiner Wars Leader Starscream. I do wonder if the Starscream, Elita-1 and Inferno combiners will ever get official names, or if they'll only be referred to as "Super Robot".

I don't know, most likely not, unless they are planning to give Elita a full team, which is possible since her packaging art does have Moonracer, Jazz, and a black version of Jazz as limbs, with Firestar being the other arm I'd think, but I'm really not sure.

But I am definitely combining Starscream in my display eventually with his 4 members I'll have, and I may combine Elita depending how she comes out in bot mode and if we get a 4th bot limb for her combined mode. Inferno will most likely stay in robot mode so I have a version of that mold individually, seeing as how I have Hot Spot and Pyra Magna. I may combine him with Lost Lightatron's limbs at some point though just to give Cyclonus a breather.

But at leats for now, Starscream is Megascream.

And good grief, the part sharing between Deluxes is being put to full use and has officially reached Combiner Wars levels:

Sludge with Slug
Swoop with Cutthroat
Rippersnapper with Blot
And now, Snarl with Sinnertwin sharing waist, upper legs, elbow, shoulder hinge and Combiner Peg.

The only ones not paired up are the Jazz and Moonracer molds.

I highly doubt it at this point, since has made zero effort (as has been reported) to differentiate their line from the PotP, but perhaps, just maybe, at least in the instructions to their Voyagers maybe they will mention a combined mode name for the Starscream (and possibly other) combiners? Grand Starscream sounds decidedly UW-ish, and I like it. Still, something official would be nice.

He does or maybe he did. I think since I put his tail in the right position in arm mode it didn't happen again. You have to flip the tail halfs all the way down into the shins before pegging the legs together.
