Just going to leave these here.
Now you've seen uglier Transformers.

A picture of the back of the box would have been nice.william-james88 wrote:About the prime armour, it cannot fit on the robot mode chest, so it is basically a weapon, as advertised on the back of the box.
And the precious Wreck-Gar actually is Combiner Wars Wreck-Gar. A comparison with him would be nice, too.william-james88 wrote:The other big difference is the head. And yes, it looks small, especially compared to the previous Wreck-Gar toy.

JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Rodimus Prime wrote:Groove, Afterburner and Wreck-Gar are the only ones to use this mold? I'm thinking about buying all of them to make a CW biker gang. But who would be the 4th member and who would they combine with?
Those are the three characters using the main mold, yeah. However, Aftrerburner has two decos to choose from, Hasbro's toy-accurate one (which resembles Wreck-Gar to a degree) and TakaraTomy's cartoon-accurate one, that comes with two new-mold guns.
As for the Torso, Inferno has a spot for a miniature bike...

Well I am Australian. It's kinda what we're known for.
I went ahead and pre-ordered him, so if I manage to snag him on HTS, then I can cancel the BBTS pre-order and save $20. But, if I don't manage to get him on HTS, then I can keep the BBTS pre-order and not have to pay scalper prices for him.Agamemnon wrote:[Edit] Estimated to arrive n January, so I guess I could try to get him for cheaper at HTS...
o.supreme wrote:Just changing gears for a moment. Does anyone happen to know how much "Throne of the Primes" sold for at SDCC? I'm just trying to consider purchasing options. The nice thing ismaking this a regular release will making scalping these hopefully less likely, if people are patient that is. TT PotP Leader Class are selling on 3P sites for $65 (as opposed to US $50 Retail). So even with the added Prime Masters, if people miss out on HTS on August 13th, where they will sell for $70, I cant imagine 3P pre-orders being more than $90 or $95 (which is what the last couple Legends Leaders were/are going for). It would be interesting to see if the pre-orders for the TT one are available prior to August 13th, if/how that will effect sales on HTS. I mean I know they will sell out in short order, but I know some people that are willing to be patient and wait 6 months to get them at a decent price rather than pay 2X retail scalper prices on eBay once HTS sells out.
Cobotron wrote:Wow! 20 bucks more for Throne Primal than from HTS isn't SO bad. I bet he could be imported from JP online shops for a little better than that.
I got a shipping notice from teh 'Zon for Repugnus last night. He is arriving a day earlier than was originally projected
MAN! Amazon is killing it with these guys. With all of these Zon exclusives it's been like, "Your item will be delivered on the 15th". Order update, "Your item will arrive the 10th". On the 6th, DING DONG! Delivery for a Mr. Cobotron!
This has been a dramatization of real events.
I could really get use to this! So if P/CP has an estimated arrival of Sept 19th, that means he'll be here in like a week!

Ebonyleopard wrote:Gotta give it to the Hasbro Team on how they managed to work in the Battle Beast characters BACK into the Transformers line with the use of the Monsterbots. We now have 4 in canon Battle Beast characters, 3 originals and 1 new (thanks to Takara). (Or would that be 5?)

Not yet! He is suposed to become available on August 13th.Ebonyleopard wrote:Was Primal ever available on HTS for actual purchase?
Yup! Me too. While the ankle tilt on the new feet is great, and the ability to beef up the feet by adding the hands is awesome. I still think the creativity in finding a reasonable solution with the CW HFGs trumps all that. I don't know if I like HFGs better, but I never had a problem with them, and am still able to get my Combiners into some great poses.o.supreme wrote:Nemesis Primal wrote:Unpopular opinion: I like the HFGs better than these Prime Armors.
I actually do too

Nemesis Primal wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:As an aside, how does Sky Reign look with Dinobot limbs?
I only have half of the Dinobot limbs and don't intend on purchasing the other two, so this probably isn't exactly what you want, but this is my current Sky Reign configuration:
I'm actually intending to replace Snarl with Wreck-Gar and Swoop with Trailbreaker when I acquire them, but I don't know what I'll do about the foot situation when I do. Snarl is currently borrowing Groove's HFG, and Groove's going to need that back when I eventually get the other Protectobots I want...
Unpopular opinion: I like the HFGs better than these Prime Armors. I find they work better for action poses, the built-in weapon aspect appeals to me, some characters can actually use them for stuff in non-combined modes, and they actually work as hands AND feet, as opposed to the Prime Armors which are useless half the time because they can only be hands, have weird extra thumbs, and don't convincingly work as anything other than hands. Plus, the quality control on the Prime Armors I've gotten are way worse than the HFGs. Snarl's is super loose, while Swoop's is super tight, and the armor-gun bit on the back of Rippersnapper's keeps trying to fall off.
Thanks, man.ZeroWolf wrote:That abom is looking nice and lethal lunatic!
Yes, that's the 3rd party version originally made for Nemesis Prime. It'll fit perfect to Megatronus and in my fanfic Megatronus gives Abominus the power to kind of "generate" the swordZeroWolf wrote:Love the fact you've given him fort max's sword.
