Just finished watching Season 1 of Transformers Prime! Wow! :grin:

This has got to be the all round best animated series since the original Generation 1 seasons!

All riled up I went on a mission to Bedford Toy 'r' Us to find a very well stocked store!

Picked up Transformers Prime RiD Voyager Bulkhead who looks awesome, my first Bulkhead! :lol:

The shelves had flashes offering a free Transformer Prime RiD Optimus Mask when you spend over £30 on 'Transformers Prime' items. They put through some Fall of cybertron stuff under the same offer too which got me my free mask! Nice!

Ooh, goodie. I finally saved up enough to buy Vehicon off of eBay.

My heart is full of joy after that tragic accident at Wal-Mart (I would've put it on layaway if I had known they had it :sad:

Well, it only took $15 dollars more (on top of the $15 at retail :BANG_HEAD:

), but I'll finally be getting Vehicon.

OK, this is getting ridiculous. EU versions of wave 5 have been produced, yet we are still stuck in Wave 1. It's maddening! :BOOM:

In all fairness Waves 1&2 have been shelf warming here for months, wave 3 has been very scarce. I've not seen Knockout or a Vehicon on the shelves .

These are from a UK specific case, which also has a Hotshot, Arcee and another Kup. I'll be quite interested to see how they penetrate retail....

I picked a cyberverse arcee recently as well. I'm usually not a huge fan of arcee designs, but this one is surprisingly good!

Finally spotted Kup and Rumble today at Kmart. $18.99 each..... I picked them up but I feel pretty bad about it. I put them in the closet for now. I may return them if I can find them at Target or Walmart. I don't know when Kmart became such a rip off. It's gotta be tough to even upstage TRU's markups.

Why on Earth would you feel bad about it?

Here's some food for thought:

1.) We now know that Rumble and Kup are the last Deluxe figures to come out of the Prime line. (PRID is finished, soon it will be Beast Hunters. This was said at NYCC.)

2.) After spending time, gas, and patience, you'd end up spending more than you did. ($15.47 to $18.99 is not a tremendous difference, it really isn't.)

3.) K-Mart, whether we believe it or not, is some form of competition for Wal-Mart. I'd much rather have my money go to K-Mart and give their employees yet one more paycheck and keep them from being jobless, than to give it to the juggernaut known as Wal-Mart's wallet.

I'm sorry, but so far, your post isn't making much sense to me. You found them. At retail. That alone is enough of a triumph. Add in the fact that you didn't have to resort to scalper pricing and/or eBay and you really do have something to be happy about.

Repeat after me:

"I got them at a reasonable price. My money didn't go to Wal-Mart. I didn't feed the scalpers. I found them at retail, which most people aren't fortunate enough to do. I'm one of the lucky ones, go me!"

Make that your mantra, repeat it.
