What do you mean "finally"? It was the gimmick for one size class in one toyline. Only 8 figures, assuming Skyquake ever makes it to market. And it hasn't even been a full year. I know it wasn't a popular gimmick but you're making it sound like it infected the entire brand.

Where do you get any indication he meant the entire brand? The "Powerizer" gimmick was strictly PRiD, so I'm sure he was referring to those Voyagers.
You sound like this is the first time they've ever done a beast figure whose transformation wasn't just "stand up on limbs and fold down the head".Bubbah wrote:Hasbro, congratulations on a Beastformer who doesn't just standup, and have a fold down beast head to reveal the bot head. I think the beast mode hind legs fold up and become the back half of the bot mode legs, but they're well hidden and I for one like how it's done, from what I can see. 2 distinct modes ... well played!

That's the bigger size class figure. This is the Voyager. Different size class = different toy.Xephon0930 wrote:What happened to that big ass version of Predaking from the initial scans of Comic Con's prototype? I actually loved the size of that said Predaking.

My point is that he's making such a fuss about it that you would think the problem was more wide-reaching than it really is.

On the one hand, he looks awesome. On the other, I forgot we were receiving a Weaponizers size version. However...the Weaponizers have been really shoddy looking to me, I can't imagine he'd be much better.

Or Leader class, since Weaponizers have been simialr to but different from the typical Leader class figures we got during the Cybertron-DOTM era.PrymeStriker wrote:Autobot032 wrote:Hmm. I'm rethinking my preorder, here....

It was a larger scale figure, but we're not quite sure if it's a Weaponizer or the return of Supreme Class ( ).

HOWEVER i also just read for the first time about that "beast optimus prime" toy.
does this mean that for the first time a truck morphin' prime is going to pull a transmetal-esque evolution in the show, like how primal did in beast wars?
or is the toy only being made for the money?
