But as for this new head mold, it is one hell of a longshot, BUT I HOPE IT'S TF PRIME'S KUP!!!!!!!!!
I know Ratchet is kind of already filling that whole Kup persona, but G1 Ratchet was cranky like that too. Kup would be sweet in TF Prime.

At this juncture I would like play the "Timelines" card and negate your logic.
And I doubt Hasbro would make two same-named individuals this time in this continuity (unless there's some super special reason given for such a case).

Sabrblade wrote:Prime is a different line altogether. They wouldn't just make two entirely different looks for the same character. That would leave one of the two being show-accurate, and the other not. Deluxe Ironhide will most likely look a lot like Cyberverse Ironhide.GetRightRobot wrote:Although Universe 2.0 aand Generations are different lines, they are very closely related, and examples of legend versus deluxe of one character have varied as much as gavinfuzzy has suggested:
Not totally the same thing, but close.

WFC Bumblebee = Prime Bumblebee. WFC Bumblebee loses his voice (in two differently documented ways, but he does lose it).craggy wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Aligned Sentinel Prime = Aligned Zeta Prime. they've already got 2 completely different Bumblebees; WFC and Prime.
Artistic liberties due to two different animation studios and art styles.Starscream GaGa wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Young Ratchet looked like this.
I'll see that and raise you:

has no one ever thought that it could have been a prototype head that they used before the final design was rendered up?
lets rule out the following then;
Ironhide has a new mould in the cyberverse line, so they have already established that they could upscale that mould and release it as part of the main figure line. In fact its easier to make a smaller scale model and then upscale it with the computer software, as the 3x or 5x upscale is where its designed on the computer.
Ratchet's new look head could be a prototype - or it could be a screwup with the image (mostlikely a screw up with the image department in producing the instruction scans being the better option.)
if it is a repaint, then i have a feeling that it will be either a non descript decepticon, or they will be reusing the name to protect the i.p/copyright of the name. i guess its the waiting game

Good point, maybe Gears? They are going to have to do some none-cartoon characters in order to keep this toyline afloat
