Glad to see some people out there are finally giving him the credit he deserves. It's like they took movie Optimus and turned him into a cartoon. Simply amazing. I will buy all these on first sight! Might have to sell off some Classics figures to make room on the shelf. Oh well, never really liked them anyway. Just cheap plastic.

I would just like to say...not really. The designs are a combined effort of 5 designers that did not work on the movies. There was a team of designers working with direction from the script writers and Hasbro to get their designs. Although Optimus shares some similarities, and Bumblebee continues to be a mute warrior, I think the similarities end there. PERSONALLY, the Prime design team managed to remove most of the things I did not like in the movieverse designs. The faces, crushed soda cans, gorilla arms and foul language. I do like Prime and the toys, but not because it has anything to do with the movies.
