There's already been human casualties. Arcee unintentionally killed some MECH soldiers back in episode 9.Foxbear wrote:Dead Metal wrote:Remember how at the panel they said that one main character would die in Season 2?
What if it's an Autobot, killed by Orian Pax?
An Autobot......Or a human?![]()
I don't think any Transformers series would ever get THIS dark mind you, but what if OP killed Jack? What would Arcee's reaction be to loosing another partner to the one mech in the universe she trusts above all others?

I just assume he'll show up since all word from the creators on the Dinobots showing up in Prime has said that they are "on the radar".Red 50 wrote:By the way, is it certain that Grimlock will be joining the cast or does everyone think it's him due to him appearing in Fall of Cybertron?

I've been thinking the same thing. Autobots have suffered enough in season 2, so to "balance" things it would make sense that it would be 'Cons turn now. But, they said "to except higher body count" (or something along that line), so I guess we'll see losses on both sides.Red 50 wrote:BTW, is it really supposed to be an Autobot? Could the walking body be a 'Con?

You mean season 1, right? Season 2 hasn't aired yet.Zequem wrote:I've been thinking the same thing. Though, these losses may be to side characters.

I think that he possibly could have small flashbacks, maybe about right after he became Prime? Or Megatron is going to brainwash him well so he doesn't remember anything from his past life as a Prime. I'm interested to see if Orion is willing to fight against Autobots, if that will ever happen.
RatchetXHide wrote:As far as flashbacks, I hope he would have flash backs. If he doesn't then how will he ever remember who is who and re-join the Autobots?

The Key to Vector Sigma. The story line will lead back to Cybertron where Jack [hopefully in some kind of 'master' armor] will use they key on Nemesis ala Rodimus using the Matrix on Unicron. That would be cool, if done right... But it would most likely come off as a Deus ex Machina if not built up properly.
Now, something that hasn't been mentioned yet. What if Nemesis swings way evil and offs Megatron to take lead of the Decepticons?

Sabrblade wrote:I just thought of something. What if we're looking at this all wrong? What if the Key does have some purpose, but is not the thing that restores Optimus' memories? The creators could have put it in there as a Red Herring for us to all speculate how it would bring Optimus back, when it instead is for some other purpose just to throw us off.

Leave it to Dead Metal to have the word 'Pronz' in his signature.
That could either be very dumb or very awesome, depending on how they pull it off.Dead Metal wrote:Ever think of the possibility that Optimus never gets his memories back?

An awesome way would be for him to come to find more favor with Autobots than the Decepticons all on his own. Something like how BW Silverbolt willingly chose to join the Maximals after preferring their good nature over the Predacons' jerkiness.
And afterward, Optimus/Orion would thus begin a long process of trying to grow back into the leader he once was, but instead becomes an ever better leader than before (one who can show EMOTION). It would be a great chance to develop him from a youthful, relatable character into the role model that we all know and love (a la Animated Optimus).

Starscream was far more insubordinate to Megatron than Airachnid was, yet Screamer wasn't killed. Why would Airachnid (who is a GREAT character, BTW) get offed for much milder offenses?crazyjeffy wrote:Maybe the season 2 death is Airachnid killed by a loyal 'Con(or Meg himself) because of what happened during Meg's absence.

Airachnid is one of the best characters in this show! (Along with Starscream and Arcee). Her debut episode was the turning point in this show's greatness. She practically saved the show from falling into utter dullness and unoriginality.RatchetXHide wrote:Sabrblade wrote:Starscream was far more insubordinate to Megatron than Airachnid was, yet Screamer wasn't killed. As much as I wish for Airachnid to die, I don't think it will happen. I just hope that no matter what happens, it will still be okay for me to watch with an 8-year-old. She has come to love the show and even wants to be Arcee for Halloween. The moment that it gets to the point of her not being able to watch it will be a sad one.
Another thing, I would HATE for one of the main Autobots to die. That would be horrible.

How is she annoying? Her voice actress has made a fantastic performance of her character, and the writers have been using a great deal of subtlety to her character as of recently.RatchetXHide wrote:I agree, but at the same time, she got to be annoying. It is nice to have a femme Decepticon show up.
