A slap in the face? How? Being #26 is awesome considering a bazillion movies have been released since the beginning of that form of entertainment. It's something to be proud of!

I'm just pleased that it is now the top grossing movie in Michael Bay's career-- that means we'll see mega-sequels.

I think people are still somewhat naive thinking Mike Bay pushed this movie to where it is...

Transformers + Spielberg + ILM = win

Had it been James Cameron directing, had it been Spielberg himself, had it been ________________ , if they had ILM powered robots kicking a$$ I still believe this movie would have done awesomely...Transformers has a built in fanbase (The first clip released was like the most viewed Google video in history or something like that) Grant it it's Bay movie and that is what it is, but Transformers was gonna do well because the tens of millions who watched it as kids were gonna watch it as adults, add the fringe crowd who were gonna go watch robots fighting anyways(which the movie wound up being more directed toward)and you were gonna have a success...Although I do have many problems with the fringe audiences leaving this movie thinking it was "My" Transformers (Yes I said "my" and am being selfish like that, sue me, not saying that at anyone ) I am proud to see Transformers was never forgotten on a national level eventhough it has essentially been Japan's baby in animated form and mainstream pop culture in their country morso then ours during the interim...
