Chapter IV
A purple laser bolt whizzed by Airbrake's cranial unit, causing her to duck back under the cover of the makeshift cover, which was comprised of crates and some steel girders that were found before the battle had started. Airbrake leaned her back against the crate with a sigh, and looked over to a soldier that firing a large rifle, causing him to jerk back with a jolt every time it fired it's high caliber projectile. The next few seconds, Airbrake was reloading her Rifle with a clip on the side of her leg. She looked up again at the soldier, he was still firing his rifle, but then a bolt of laser fire struck him on the faceplate, killing him, and sending him back with a lurching rag-doll.
"Frag!" Airbrake cursed as she looked at the small amount of Autobots that were still living, even then they were in terrible shape.
She stood back up in a crouching stance to survey the battle unfolding. The Decepticons had way more reinforcements than the Autobots, for they were flooding out of the doorway, while more and more of the Autobots dropped.
"Autobots! Fall back! FALL BACK!" Airbrake yelled out to the remaining Autobots.
They all began to run back through the hallways while firing at the pursuing Decepticons, some falling on the way, only to be trampled and killed by the Decepticons.
Airbrake looked back at the Decepticons, only to find that they have stopped following, and have fallen behind.
"Autobots, battle scenario No. 412!" Airbrake ordered as she pressed her back into a crevasse on the wall, and brandished her Rifle as a frown crossed her Faceplate. The rest of the Autobots did the same, completely hiding their forms from the common onlooker.
Airbrake listened intently for any sign of the Decepticons coming, she heard voices in a conversation.
"...Is your name soldier?" Said a gruff, dark voice.
"Haggler, sir." Said a much younger voice, that apparently was named Haggler.
"Son, I need you to go forth into that hallway, and scout." The gruff voice said through what sounded like, a smirk.
Several seconds passed and a young Decepticon entered the hallway cautiously while brandishing his rifle nervously.
Haggler was making his way down the hallway nervously, and everything was going well, until a soldier across from Airbrake was getting impatient and shot Airbrake a desperate look.
"
Don't!" She mouthed to him, trying to keep him from firing.
The Mech looked impatient and began to point his weapon at the back of Haggler, and fired. Haggler screamed and fell, the projectile must have hit a critical place, because Haggler went into stasis lock immediately.
"NO!" Airbrake screamed, but it was too late, the gunfire gave the Decepticons all they needed to know.
They stormed in, with the exact place for where the Autobots were hiding, and fired their weapons, laying waste to most of the Autobots beyond Airbrake. She leaned forward and grabbed at a grenade at her left hip, and tossed it into the center mass of the Decepticon force. The seemed to fumble about for several seconds, and then the explosion must have hit an Energon Line, for several other explosions riddled the hallway. Airbrake lurched forward with the explosion behind her, sending her forward onto the ground in front of her.
Looking up from the ground with a hoarse choke, revealing , Airbrake was suddenly kicked to loll to her side. A hand came down from behind and grabbed her head and began to be lifted to her feet, painfully.
"Hello." Said the Mech in front of her, the same mech that had the gruff, dark voice.
He raised his rifle, and whacked her across her faceplate, rendering her unconscious.
