I think the whole "no noses" thing does kinda make sense. They're robots, so they don't need to smell. Plus, it makes them look a little more "alien".
If thats the case, then how would you explain Bumblebee's eyebrows...

Could you post the picture to show us which one you're talking about?Lordprime7755 wrote:the picture of the red car dude. he has these yellow flame on the chest. but also that mouth plate. all i know its a legion or warrior class red car dude and its a autobot. the mouth plate is alot like Optimus Primes .. if u compare them. but hey i like Optimus Prime the warrior class alot better.

Eyebrows are expressive, they can be used to make a character emote. Noses, not so much.

Couldnt Hasbro just turn the generations line into a cartoon instead ? I would love to see an end to all these Bay inspired cartoon spoofs.
There it is: The undeniable link between sexual preference, eyebrows and the lack of noses.

(Honestly most of the character models in Beast Wars used implied eyebrows on the helmet designs to help with expression)
These new eyebrow things are going to ruin Transformers.
Well it's more been a thing since Beast Wars season 2 with the character models being made to look like the toys (with Beast Machines being a notable exception due to some miscommunication between the toys and CG models being designed independently of each other), with RID 2001, Armada, Energon, and Cybertron (as well as the Japanese-only Beast Wars II, Beast Wars Neo, and Go!) having their toys made first and then the character models being directly based on the toys (in Cybertron's case, sometimes right down to even having the screw holes included in the CG models).william-james88 wrote:I am more curious about what you guys think about the actual toys. What I dont get is that so far in all of the most recent animated series (cybertron, Animated, Prime) the toys were made to reflect what the characters looked like on screen. Or more specifically (especially with Cybertron) the characters on screen were made to look just like the toys. So what's with this line where the simpler design makes the toy and screen character quite different in appearance? Steeljaw and Strong arm have this giant back kibble for instance.

Keep an eye out for the instructions then. Trust me, it's a good habit to have

The instructions are on the back of the card now it looks like, so I don't think there's gonna be a separate sheet.

Sabrblade wrote:Well, when the first RID toyline came out in 2001, those toys didn't have on-package bios either. Instead, their bios were hosted on Hasbro.com.
