Dang it, now I have to go find news on that. I missed it the first time.

I butchered your quote for a reason. Across the various threads I'm following; I have the hardest time reading what TF fans care about. It seems like such a split between love and hate with no in between.
I've said it before and I will say it again. If I find something fun and interesting, I will comment on it. If not, I ignore it. Why rain on someone else's parade?
I'm really enjoying the RID15 line. I didn't think so at first, but with each new figure I get, I like it more and more. They are fun, feel good in hand and have a real eye catching color scheme. I just picked up Bee when he was on sale at KMart and I'm really glad I did. Of course, now I've gotten myself in trouble and I want them all.
Here, let me help out:
Featuring single-step transformations, Mini-Cons transform into weapons (buzzsaws for the Autobots and torpedoes for the Decepticons), and can interact with larger figures. They include a number of clear-plastic accessories, packaged on the sprue, which can be pegged into various sockets on their bodies. Some of the figures' accessories can be combined with those from their wavemates to form an "energy animal": a big cat for Wave 1, and a shark for Wave 2.
There is no other info on this and it is driving me bonkers when it really shouldn't. I think it is super cool though.
Also, yes, it is hard to assess what fans want or like. I still dont know what the general opinion on Generations Whirl is since I hear so many different things. I think he is just ok but works surprisingly well as Shockwave.
Also, if we didnt have people raining on others' parade, these would be very quiet boards
I dont know much about this line yet since I am buying the takara versions only, because they are the same price as the Hasbro version now, and they come out a bit later than the Hasbro versions (and are part of another thread). I look forward to experiencing them, they remind me of the Galaxy Force line in terms of their blockyness and vehicle kibble integration.
