They don't have the increase in accuracy, sculpture and paintwork that minimally articulated figures often have. And they aren't even that cheap. If they were hugely poseable or gorgeously painted or extremely cartoon accurate or only £2 I might understand. But as is? There is literally no point to getting them over a Warrior class figure or even a one-step. I'm no economist, but there is absolutely no way that continuing to make these...things makes any sense for Hasbro. It decreases the budget they have for other lines and it takes up space on store shelves that could be used by stuff that will actually sell.
I weep for the ignorance on these boards regarding these "shampoo bottles". These arent Transfomers toys aside from having that branding. In reality, they are part of a bigger line called Titans from Hasbro which sells ridiculously well for 4 year olds, and are made of vynyl so that kids dont get hurt:
They are found in all Hasbro brands and this is what sells most under the Marvel umbrella. No reason Hasbro wouldnt try that success with another one of its monster brands. This isnt new and its been arond for a while and selling, and the world hasnt ended and Hasbro is still making traditional Transformers for you. No need to whine at something you dont understand and that isnt made for you!
