Packing him with Ravage and Laserbeak would break the film specific packaging theme that the Studio Series has. By putting Frenzy with 2007 Megs or with the AllSpark bots keeps with the theme.
Given the the various forms Laserbeak has he could have his own mini boxset
I dunno, they'd have to really break them from the scale the lines going for; especially frenzy as he was minuscule compared to other figures

D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Thanks to Prime vs. Prime, we have a pair of brand new English reviews for the upcoming Studio Series Bonecrusher and Optimus Prime figures to share with you today!
The Bonecrusher and Optimus Prime figures are the first 2019 wave of Voyagers. Bonecrusher comes out rather short in robot mode, somewhat in scale with Prime but definitely short compared to his fellow 2007 Decepticon mates, as Prime vs. Prime points out in his review. While is doesn't appear all that detailed, he does have a nice range of posability in his claw and his legs, and you can get some pretty good range of movement out of him. He features the background of the highway bridge battle from the 2007 movie.
Optimus Prime is a retool of the original Studio Series Prime figure, but now with a more accurate chest and back, brighter colors, and the ability to combine with Jetfire. He also comes with a backdrop featuring his battle with Bonecrusher on the highway bridge.
Check out the reviews below, and let us know what you think of the long awaited update to Bonecrusher and this updated Prime in the comments section below!
I'm curious. What do you like about it?D-Maximal_Primal wrote:Really looking forward to the DotM one though. that thing looks sick

Haha, well at least it comes to show that distribution is indeed improving
And no problem, was glad to help. I will let you know if I spot Ironhide on Amazon for a decent price.

Yes. Now go to your room and don't play with yourself.
Deadput wrote:JelZe GoldRabbit wrote:Wait a tick... It's "Autobot Ironhide" now?
As opposed to what, Decepticon Ironhide? /s
Yeah it is strange, have we ever seen Ironhide have the additional Autobot name added to his toys before?
Wolfman Jake wrote:Now I wonder, does everyone's Studio Series box say "Autobot Ironhide," or does mine represent a running change?

Frenzy was just big enough to drive Barricade in the 2007 movie, maybe about the size of a tween human, so compared to a deluxe scaled Studio Series figure, Frenzy should be a bit smaller than even a Titan Master figure. That's tiny.

Everyone's box says 'Autobot Ironhide'.

SFBglord wrote:Alright 2007 Megatron needs to be given the Leader Class treatment for Studio Series. I think it will be an injustice to give him the Voyager Class size. A big complain I have with the ROTF Megatron they released for Studio Series is the bloody hollowness of its body and how small it feels (in fact I dislike it because of this reason).

Studio Series RotF Megatron is one of the BIGGEST Voyager Class figures in the line, though. Even with the newly "embiggened" SS-32 Optimus Prime, SS-13 Megatron is still much taller than him, putting them at a pretty accurate on-screen scale with one another. I think a Leader Class 2007 Megatron would be a bit too big, unless it's a smaller sized Leader and compacts a lot in robot mode. I can see the Leader Class being a good way to get the alt mode right, though, especially with the wings.
