Do you take a different figure to work every day?

My KSI Boss arrived today, and gosh he is gorgeous. it's amazing the amount of paint on this figure, and how good it makes him look.

I have a new running theory that after the first year of SS figures was successful, they put more paint budget into the figures. We have gotten some wonderfully painted figures lately, like Megatron, who came to work with me. That figure is the best figure of this year so far for me.

I'm inclined to believe that theory. One of the things that made me love SS Grimlock was the amount to paint and detail they gave him.

I do yes. I give all my figures some love. The Studio figures are having their turn now, I got a whole wave to go through and then some

Mixmaster, while not as good as Megatron, is still a very good standalone voyager. I love what all you can do with his arms, and I do enjoy his head sculpt.

It's a very awesome mold. I'm glad at least Studio Series has Starscream and Thundercracker have two separate molds. I wonder if they'll ever do some form of Skywarp...

I would probably be Ok with that honestly. Be cool to have the 3 original seekers in so different of bodies, but Blitzwing would need a modified head to look like a variation of the Starscream/Thundercracker head.

I Also wouldn't mind a redeco of Blitzwing into movie thrust.

We just need to get him. Why they have taken so long to do Blitzwing is beyond me.

And I am still very impatiently awaiting the final 2 Devastator components. I'm ready dammit!

Ah cool. That movie design is **** sweet. Skipjack would be a yellow Rampage correct? Like a fool I jumped on that under $10 Hightower. Might as well go all in on yellow construction vehicles.

I'm very excited to get home and play with Hightower. Going let him hang with my yellow beastbox dino. They'll be fast friends and fail at high fives.

Skipjack is the yellow Rampage yes. I might get him to combine and keep Rampage separate, or vice versa. I love the mold so I have no problems owning it twice.

Hightower is pretty nice, I love the weird Constructicons

Thats my exact plan, because in the film Devastators leg was yellow so it makes sense. Just hope we don't end up waiting ages for it!

Nope, and haven't planned to either. I like him as the robot/cement truck/head bot, I have no need for the gun mode.

So Hightower is weird in a fun way, or is he fun in a weird way? I'm TF movie dumb, but I like fun/interesting transforming toys; ended up on TFWiki and saw the concept art and decided to try and replicate it.



I dig his crane arm coming out the back much better. Seems to give him more of that metal monster t-rex "hey look mom, I have a tail" vibe. Such a goofy weird **** thing. Dig it

So I went to the local Walmart I currently have access to at school to look for the Earthrise guys and found out that while last year they only carried Siege Deluxes, this year they appear to only have Studio Series Deluxes and whatever rubbish Cyberverse figures are at the $12 price point. Disappointing since they didn't have the guys I intended to purchase, or even the newest wave of SS, but it does mean I finally caved and bought Car Dropkick to go with this year's spectacular-looking Shatter.

While I still don't think that copter Dropkick is an bad figure by any means, I will concede that this one is better. There's some really cool engineering in this transformation, and I love that he comes with his pop gun. I kinda wish that his face had some green detailing on the mouth to simulate the visual effect from him speaking, and I still say his car hood boob shelf chest is too big, but otherwise I am satisfied.

Just picked up Hightower for $10 at Walmart! (Price matching from their website)

I won’t be able to complete Devastator, but I figured for that price that it’d be a fun figure.

And I was right! Hightower’s so weird, but in a really good way. I love how creative and different the ROTF Constructicons look.

Here he is with Bee, they’ve got a pretty good matching color scheme!
