I am super pumped for a G1 accurate type Scourge. That is what I have wanted for years, basically since the Generations Scourge. I am loving all this 86' studio series pretty much. Scourge is one of my fav chars of the Season 3 group. To have him as voyager size is all the better, its about time.

Do you think Kup, Scourge, Cyclonus and Hot Rod will come with their Target Masters? I know it's a film line but I figure why not?

They wont and it isn't really Necessary. Firedrive (Hot Rod's partner Firebolt) is in Siege wave 1 and Fracas (Scourge's partner) is in the Phantomstrike Squade pack, that just leaves Recoil (for Kup) and Nightstick (for Cyclonus). I imagine those two will end up in future Netflix sets. In the meantime we can always stick Trenchfoot (from the Alphastrike set) with Kup since he doesn't have a G1 Targetmaster counterpart.

Unfortunately, almost certainly not, if only because of how Hasbro does Targetmaster partners these days, and how they'd take up too much of the mass for the main figure to be uncompromised. Plus, the leaker on TFW who has at least Scourge and Hot Rod in hand mentions nothing about them, even though he seems to have all their accessories (if not even doubles, depending on what his source says about Hot Rod's two very similar looking guns).

Finally have SS Cliffjumper. He's a neat figure despite his bizarre long neck. He also tab well enough in bot mode.
However, that transformation IS SCARY. I went without instructions until I was stumped. I didn't want to break anything after breaking my HFTD Highbrow's tail-heel. I looked at the instructions and saw that the chestplate fold in half..... All clear plastics.... SUPER TIGHT. Ooooffff.... I'm sure this will snap off in some months or years....

Makes the legends versions still worth it.

Beware anyone who pre-ordered from Target on the BOGO sale back in February. Anything that hasn't shipped yet might be in jeopardy of losing the sale price. Target was making me update my payment info, but when you do, you lose the sale/promotion price.
Looks like it will mainly affect the wave 3 Earthrise items and some of the October Studio Series releases.
Edit, thank god I also ordered a second Overload from Amazon, because Target cancelled my one I ordered from them.

I had them try that on me back in May, I got a hold of customer service, got my payment method changed, and they honored the sales price at that time, and still appears to be honoring it. But I'll keep an eye open for it

Why would updating your payment method affect the price you bought the items yet? I'm not saying it's not happening but I can't understand how they can justify it

By the sounds of it, when you update your payment method, they "cancel" and "re-order" your order, so the cancelled order takes the deals with it and the new order doesn't have them unless they are applicable again.
It's really weird, Target pre-orders are a true crapshoot

Right, that makes (twisted) sense. Really a bad system on behalf of Target

Weird system, but honestly, I'll take a crapshoot of being able to pre-order during a sale and it maybe working out. If they were smart, they would make the sale only applicable to items in stock and not for pre-orders (especially ones that are 6 months from being in stock), so I'll take that ability while it lasts.

Nah. Been collecting since before you were old enough to collect sonny. But that’s what’s not in storage for now. Not enough space to put everything out.
But Magnus is the character I have the fewest of.
Primes are quite a bit more plentiful.

ok, so as of a few days ago I think I've had a visual sighting of every standard release Studio Series figure in store, and every store exclusive (online exclusives obviously not)...but this is an odd time, basically every revealed Numbered character (aside for the alleged rumored #69 Devastator set), has been released. I imagine at Pulsecon (or whatever it is next week) there will be some reveals? I know there are the 86 Movie leaks, but as much as I am a fan of the original series, I'd like to see SS continue to support the live-action film franchise.
I don't purchase these toys, but I enjoy cataloguing them, and watching them show up as they are released.
Oh and I'm 44 just for the record

Greetings Seibertronians! Fellow Seibertron user, Praxiusprime77 has let us know that YouTube toy reviewer, TonTon Reviews, has been at it again. This time, has produced a video review for the upcoming Transformers Studio Series 86 Voyager Class Hotrod!
This Hotrod is the first of the 86 movie releases for the line, and comes with several accessories to mimic what he used in the 1986 animated movie, such as his flip down goggles and the saw blade he wields at one point.
We have embedded the review below for your convenience:
What do you think of this version of the classic character? Will you be adding him to a Hotrod shrine? Let us know in the Energon Pub and stay tuned to Seibertron for all the latest news and reviews!

This figure looks awesome and I can't wait to get it. Now all we need is a little Energon, and a lot of luck is for Hasbro to ACTUALLY ANNOUNCE THE TOYLINE

Shame it's not smoother and less lined. At deluxe I'd probably bite, not at voyager though. Might wait and see if they do a pink version down the line or add a target master.

This looks incredible! It's definitely a "Mini Masterpiece" a la some of the stuff we've been getting from the War for Cybertron Trilogy so far. It does fit in with that aesthetic too, as there is plenty of greebling on Studio Series Hot Rod to make him more detailed than the animation models. I also called it on the entire shoulder assembly needing to rotate 180 degrees to get the arms transformed right. I love how neatly the back wheels fold up into the calves and the use of panels to hide the hollows in the forearms where the hands fold away. Also, those are some nicely articulated hands, just like Earthrise Optimus Prime. The Voyager price point for this figure definitely comes through in terms of complexity of transformation and parts count as compared to a standard Deluxe-sized figure. The backpack folds up beautifully too. It's better than what they achieved with the actual Masterpiece figure. Bravo, Hasbro and Takara! This is impressive!

I'm kind of wondering about those secret leg holes...
It doesn't need to weaponise with it not being part of wfc or use them in transformation. With that in mind, is it just split from the upcoming Rodimus figure (tho lack of Rodimus face would say not) or is it just so some employee can make some third party add ons for it :p
