Greetings Seibertronians! Thanks to tip offs from fellow Seibertron users, Praxiusprime77, MadProject and Sol Magnus, we've learned that YouTube toy reviewer, TonTon Reviews has struck again! This time, he's got his mitts on Transformers Studio Series 86 Deluxe Class Kup!

This deluxe class is the closest Kup yet to the animation model, yet also shares some design elements from the War for Cybertron Trilogy. This would mean he's designed to stand alongside the movie characters already released through that range, such as Siege Springer and Earthrise Arcee.

So I'm probably going to get a million fans yelling at me but...Hotrod and Kup are basically the same size (in fiction, and most previous toys as well), why is Hotrod a Voyager?

Is it just me, or are the colors off on him? It doesn't really look as movie accurate as the Hot Rob fig ended up being.

Also, does his lower arm and lower leg come off (intentionally, not accidentally) like on Quintessa? I can't be the only person wondering that...

More or less, its also a question of Deluxe class slots available, then of course they may look the same height but there could be a lot more parts going into Hot Rod then Kup which will also play into price. It could have been that Hotrods design took him to a place that was between the limits of Deluxe and the threshold of Voyager, so a few extra parts were made to push him over via plastic amount.

Oh dear. At this rate, I'm all in on both Kingdom and Studio Series 86'.
My wallet shall not be spared.
On a side note, These designs do look fantastic!
I was previously concerned about Kup's white kibble that connects the arms to the chest, Nope,
Double checked, It was on the animation model after all.
That's good enough for me.
Can't wait.

Doesn't really help that the original Kup has a generic look for better or worse outside of his head sculpt. (More modern versions of him improve this) it's just gonna make any strict attempts to recreate his look be a tad boring.

Because height in relation to price point hasn't matterred for 2 years now.
