I suppose so too that there will be a "stealth mode Bee light edition", but this gives Laserbeak-the-pink-Bee the short end of the stick.

Thanks to fellow Seibertronian Chuckdawg, we have a video review of the upcoming Transformers Studio Series DOTM Laserbeak. This mold will be released in Bumblebee colours as well next year so fans wanting that toy can get a good idea of the transformation here.

This is a good mold that I'm sure you'll all enjoy in a couple of waves when it's released as Bumblebee. If you like your Camaros in pink then pick it up now, otherwise, wait.

I've got the original Japanese repaint, so I wonder which one has the most authentic shade of pink to the film version? Also, which mold is "better" for this character? Is it worth double-dipping?

Primeisboss has sent us a message telling us that they found Studio Series 86 core class Wheelie, Rumble and Dark of the Moon Laserbeak at US retail. They were all found at Target. We also included some video reviews of the two new releases below if you wanted to check them out before buying them.

I finally got sludge. Holy crap is he a piece of crap. Legs are so wobbly. Pieces just fall off. Be ashamed hasbro. Instructions are wrong, I had to youtube a video to figure out the transformation. If I had my receipt, he'd be going back.

We have some pretty big news, both for movies and toys. We FINALLY have images of one of the more complex toys of a Rise of the Beasts character, Airazor. It is deluxe class BUT we do not know if it is mainline deluxe class (so part of the actual movie line) OR if it is from the Studio Series line. The person who posted the images here is guessing Studio Series but we do not know yet. This does also give us a first look at what was said a year ago, that the Maximals would have a rusted mechanical look to them, almost steampunkish. We see those details here in the hawk mode which is a mix of organic and mechanical parts. While the body has similar details we've come to expect from live action/bayverse designs, the face looks much more smooth than usual. You can see all the images below, enjoy!

This looks 10 times better than the Kingdom one. Especially with the bird mode that is way better engineered.

Fingers crossed for a head swap to Beast Machines Silverbolt. Transformation seems pretty close, feather weapons are pretty close, and the beast's head isn't even totally off.

I am a big beast transformer fan and even I thought that at first glance. This feels promising for the rest of the line.

Damn!.... That looks really nice. I like the choice to make the wings out of the legs, streamlines the hawk a bit more.

Definitely a picker-upper. Totally not a movie-verse design.

Being one of the few people that enjoyed the Kingdom mold, Skywarp II and Terrorsaur, this one is quite an improvement.

Definitely liking this style. Can't wait for the rest of the maximals. Hopefully Primal turns out this good.

This is more proof that designs can look like the original and still get all that new modern design junk all the bay fans are talking about. I like this, hopefully all the designs will be as good! Could even consider skipping kingdom for this!

A bit screwy in bird mode but the cybernetic look kinda makes the screws less ugly. Not sure if I like the beastmodes being that way but if its a beatmachines throwback rather than breastwars maybe it will work.

I do like the robot head design though, a big improvement over most of the other live action bot heads. Plus the figure seems to fit in well with generations stuff and not look out of place so that's a bonus too.

Fantastic! Beautiful bot mode and spot on beast mode. If the rest of the line is this good, it's going to be an expensive year...
