Just as a heads up for anyone interested in the Ratbat/Megatron pack, Amazon has accidentally switched the prices, so instead of the $69.99 it should be for two Voyager figures, it's listed for the $54.99 price of the Voyager/Deluxe pack of Shockwave/Pax. Hop on it before they notice and fix the mistake!

I don't know how well Amazon honors prices but they have the two 2-packs up for preorder with the opposite prices. Meaning that Senator Ratbat and Miner Megatron are listed for $54.99 instead of $69.99. This also means that the Orion Pax and Senator Shockwave set is listed at the $69.99 instead of $54.99. Obviously they'll fix this at some point but it might be a chance to get them both at the $54.99 so long as Amazon honors that price for Ratbat and Megatron once the preorder is put in.

2. What Black Hole has The Buzzworthy Hound & Buzzworthy DotM Hatchet fallen into?
3. When are we getting Diaclone colored Topspin to go with Twintwist?

It's actually Amazon that has the prices wrong not Pulse. It's "sold out" on Pulse due to them only getting a limited amount available for exclusives as they're not supposed to conflict with the actual retailers.

So yeah, Ratbat and Megatron can still be obtained for the lower price on Amazon.

...gotta say, I don't think I'm feeling any of these Studio Series guys. I thought I was gonna go in on Cliff and Megs, especially if Cliff came with that head sculpt, but seeing the actual figures....I think I might just try to wait for Legacy/Generations versions of Prime Cliff and Animated Megs instead.

2. I don't think they did fall into any hole, I think they were never intended to come out until closer to Detritus' release to begin with, which has yet to arrive. The store listings for the assortment containing those two only just was found like a month ago, it always felt weird that an exclusive using that retooling was maybe going to release before it's main retail use, and remember when BB Silverstreak had physical samples leak in August 2021 and then he didn't come out until April 2022? This feels like that but even further out because we just had some renders, not even physical product.
3. Rumors/leaks had said we were supposed to get both Diaclone Jumpstarters (and Fractyl) last year and then that didn't happen, so TBD I guess.

I hope so. From the first time I seen GUOP I thought it should be retooled into Nova Prime. I actually liked the thought of it so much I made made my own. No customized parts or anything but it still looks the part even with Prime's wings and water cannons. The silhouette really does look like some kind of winged retool of Siege Magnus in any event.

I've been looking at that Orion for a while though and it finally hit me what he reminds me of. Cloud Roadbuster aka Energon Ironhide. I might need a second one to customize into him now. Supposedly Cloud Roadbuster is/was a shelf warmer but I've never been able to find it for cheap anywhere that delivers to the US. I found Shockwave and Hellwarp for cheap but not Roadbuster or anyone else. Should've just tried to get them when they came out. I don't remember why I didn't.

"Small Deluxe" like most of the other Mini Cars, his parts count and transformation steps far exceeds any Core.

Conversely, I wonder what people's reception to a DLX Wheelie would be? Given that these "minbots" are still very "core" in size but can pack a wallop in articulation and to some degree sculpt quality. And while I like Core Wheelie for what it is and the price point, I can't help but think how much better a DLX version could be in terms of articulation and sculpt. Not saying I definitely want it to happen or that it should, just putting it out there being that we've got other core sized Bots being release as DLX figures.

And to be clear I don't feel every Core Bot should be considered for DLX, Frenzy and Rumble for instance, or any other tape figure.

This is why I do hesitate on these upgrades/updates, because they are so close to the older versions in terms of size. And I don't necessarily need advanced articulation on every one of them, particularly on one's I wasn't a big fan of in the first place. Yet I do have to admit Brawn and Beachcomber do look very nice. So it's battle of will and/or need I guess.

Absolutely agree. I do like the head on this cliffjumper and I think the mold is better than the old one (though still clearly flawed), but prime Cliffjumper is my favorite design for the character and I'm waiting for an update on that.

Animated Megatron would be cool too, I love the alt mode
